Romero is not back next week. And he didn't do well in a three with Frank and Danso, so I doubt he will do well in a three under Tudor either.
I prefer Romero starting in a stable 4 at the back with VdV and a good defensive midfielder, for a chance at being better than the shower of shit we consistently are, but it is never going to happen.
