Match Fulham (H) - 29/11 - 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

After last night's heroic 5 -3 defeat , I'm willing to accept that this might be one game too far

If we were to fall to a defeat , I'm not gonna let it take the shine off last night's triumph

And neither should any reasonable proper fan

Interesting metric for judging a manager: "would I trust them if they were working as a financial advisor".

Pep: yeah
Ferguson: bit scary but yeah
Jose: yeah (although you'd know he was a cunt beneath the surface)
Conte: maybe but the fringe + his intensity would make me very wary
Ange: would be suspicious at first but within 5 minutes he'd convince me to lump my life savings on DOGEcoin
Arteta: get fucked, absolute psychopath

This is a brilliant conversation to have.

Surprised this has not been discussed before.

100% agree.
I’m not trusting Frank as my financial adviser and definitely not wealth management.
He doesn’t have that corporate banking look about him. Can see AVB having good knowledge of the futures market.

However. I do think he could make a great architect.

We would collaborate on the latest building technology from the Scandinavian countries.

I’m sure he would brings some great ideas to the table on glazing and heat retention.

We would probably also be able to produce a great Scandi type kitchen using natural materials with a muted understated interior.

Thinking about it he’s a fucking exceptional architect. 100%.

Then I’m sure Redknapp and Son builders would be available to do the actual build as well.
Probably buy some natural stone from Conte Marble based in Italy.

Time now for Frank to instill in his players the belief that any game is winnable and any team is there for the taking. And, most importantly, every game is a must win. If they take to the field with that belief on Saturday, Fulham is dead meat.

Romero suspended so Danso comes in. Palhinha, Udogie, Simons, Kudus and Odobert all rested yesterday so makes sense to start all of them on Saturday. Bergval or Gray deserve another start, I'll go with Bergvall but its close! Hopefully Muani is fit to start again and he gets the nod over Richarlison. Johnson and Tel options on the left over Odobert too. We've a huge squad atm so big silection dilema.

BUT whatever happens, he cannot do Palhinha Bentancur pivot here! We need to see atleast one of Bergval or Gray start.

Fulham yet to win away from home this season.
1 point from 18.
There really aren’t any excuses that can be made not to put in a performance.

Just looked their net spend over last 5 years is pretty much what we spent on Richarlison and Solanke. That’s the gulf between the clubs.

Will come back on Saturday to bask in the glory of 3 points.

Must win and win well, no excuses.

And I think we will.

3-0

Paulhinha to slot against his old club and then do the John Arne Rise celebration knee slide with shirt over head just the chin out proudly

COYS!

I'd like to persevere with the 2 strikers it caused psg problems.

I think you're on the right lines, although Romero's suspended and I'm not sure we've ever started Tel on the left under Frank.

I suspect the penny may have finally dropped on the whole Palhinha/Bentacur thing so i reckon he'll play Palhinha with one of Gray, Bergvall and Sarr in midfield and bring in Odobert, Kudus and Xavi behind the striker.

Really bloody hope we start RKM too. His confidence will be high after that brace and I'm not sure I can stomach another game with Rich leading the line on his own.
I pray for this, in fact I pray he selects Gray and Begrvall over Palhinha and Bentancur and we never see Richarlison in a Spurs shirt again.

At last; an easy match.

I don't think players were necessarily rested, although that might have been the basis.

Our experienced players aren't setting a high enough bar, and whilst Frank doesn't have the luxury of experimentation, it might get to a stage where the younger players (through brtter performances) start to be selected more readily.

We need to beat Fulham, but we absolutely have to avoid defeat.

Least muani should be firing now

Actually id even be tempted to play odobert or Johnson over kudus until he learns that he doesn't have to beat 10 men before making a pass

Romeo's out with a mysterious illness. :cautious:

And Romero's out suspended. :D
