That would get it firing again. It’s been the only home game which I enjoyed. You mean like we did in the Burnley game which still feels like our best all round performance.

I'd honestly take a 2-2 where we absolutely smash them to bits and create a load of chances (like 4xg) than to win 1-0 where we score off a set piece and create fuck all, I really need to see something from this team and this manager.
A 2:3 defeat with an XG of 24.6 would also work, for some out there . As I understand it .
Here you go bro'. Took me like, 10 seconds.
This one literally includes the actual words 'Free Hit'![]()
Richi - Muani - Kudus up top.Dare I say Kudus night start this one on the bench?
He’s been quite disappointing of late.
I’d like
Vic
Porro Dragusin (danso if not) VDV Udogie
Gray
Bergvall Sarr
Xavi RKM Odobert
Suits me. Don't see any reason Palhinha won't start over Sarr though. He was our best player in the NLD, sarr was pretty ordinary last night. Agree on the restDare I say Kudus night start this one on the bench?

Quite a few reasons to be fair.

The Super Cup was a "Free Hit" ...a one off game that, whilst would've been great to win, wasn't gonna ruin anyone's season if we didn't..Its really weird how the term 'Free Hit' upsets you so much.
Seeing games as a Free Hit doesnt mean you want to lose them. Its just a useful perspective to take when playing teams who have better odds. It takes the pressure off and hopefully leads to players playing without fear.
Unfortunately, in the NLD, the team did the complete oppoaite, shit itself and got spanked.
Yeah, I think a lot of Spurs are addicted to that hurt and actually, secretly need it.The Super Cup was a "Free Hit" ...a one off game that, whilst would've been great to win, wasn't gonna ruin anyone's season if we didn't..
No pressure, an occasion and game to be enjoyed... and whatever the result, at least we got to PLAY in a game like that!
(I don't remember Woolwich's previous record in the Super Cup... Someone remind me???)
The NLD is most definitely NOT a free hit as the stakes are so high...
Last night, due to both the quality of opposition, and the lack of jeapordy on the game itself (ie: not a knockout game, and League positions won't be determined on the night) you COULD argue it was more of a free hit .
.but every PL game, ESPECIALLY at home, would and should never be considered a FH... even against City, Liverpool or anyone for that matter... Those games are there to be won, and if we don't, it hurts like hell!
Yeah, I think a lot of Spurs are addicted to that hurt and actually, secretly need it.
To repeat, viewing games as a free hit doesnt mean wanting to lose, and not feeling pain if we do.
The last game we lost that genuinely didn't hurt in any way, was the City home game the season before last.... THAT ONE!Yeah, I think a lot of Spurs are addicted to that hurt and actually, secretly need it.
