Match Fulham (H) - 29/11 - 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We’re really fooked at home. This will take years to turn around, look at Man United they’ve been struggling at OT for several years now through three managers. Teams fancy playing us, regardless of our performance the opposition always knows they can get at us. I don’t see us cracking top 6 for at least a couple more years.

It was similar from 95-96 - 2004 / 05.

The decade of despair.

Martin Jol set about making WHL a fortress in 05 / 06.

We stopped losing lots of home games and people turned up confident that we wouldn't lose and hopeful we could win.

That kept going until Poch apart from a brief period under Ramos at the start of 08 / 09.

What Ange did, throughout 2024 and into 2025, was destroy the foundations laid by Jol and built upon by Redknapp and Poch.

Spurs are right back where we were at the start of ENIC's tenure under the miser.

Just for the record Goon deuterz has made no posts in this thread.
He made none during the match in the PSG thread either as he was watching the goon game.

Imagine being so weird that instead of being worried about a horrendous loss you were going through the thread to see if I had posted in it. You absolute freeeeaaaakkkk.

I was out. Next time I’ll PM you just so you’re aware babes.

P.S. - I did watch and did post during the PSG game. You really should learn to read.

If Understat is to be believed, Fulham's first goal had an xG of 0.04: In other words, it would go in 4 times in 100 tries under the exact same circumstances. I beg to differ.

That's a clear shooting opportunity that could easily go in like 1/3 - 1/4 of the time.

No wonder we keep letting opponents take those shots if Frank bases his strategy on those misleading numbers, highly underestimating the risks those attempts pose.

He said in the press conference that the plan was to overload on the right, then get crosses in from Kudus and Porro for Muani and Richarlison.
That made it a weird choice to pick Udogie in the first place. To play to his strengths he has to get the ball with space to run into, if the idea was to be more defensive on the left then pick Spence or Ben Davies.

Wonky-ball bollocks.

If you're insisting on playing 2 up top; play 4312 diamond or 352 and push the FBs right up high.

Our 1st half shape was shite.

Twat thinks playing a bit of pub-league makes him Roy Keane and that he had a "career".

There was a time when fans were key to players - they needed a good crowd just to get their 15 quid a week (13 pound and sixpence for defenders). Now y'all seem to think you are paying their wages and they owe you explanations and/or some actual football skill, innit? But y'aint paying their wages. It's broadcast rights and world-wide coverage that does it. It's sponsorships and stupid club paying zillions for mediocre players who'd have been wearing a number 12 shirt back in the day. IF they were lucky. It's changing the shirt design, color and logos every five minutes so twelve- year-old twats will blackmail mum and the milkman and buy another one. There's no team pride now. Except on the "terraces" perhaps. The players don't give a toss and they are not "one of our own" - just mercenaries looking for the next employer with more cash. The real big money clubs buy pride and loyalty by getting the top 10% at huge wages and winning silverware - not by signing apprentices who polished the shoes for insufferable turds like Greta Haaland. So . . . settle back, watch Match of the Day in black and white on Youtube and regret that most of yez didn't get to see Leeds kicking the crap out of Derby (or vice versa) or Bob Mcnab and Phil Beale at it.

Or I could be full of . . .

I would never boo because I think it's shit and doesn't help anybody. But his coach AND these players deserve any boo they get. Fuck them all.
I wouldn't do it myself, but don't have an issue with those that do really.

Think about it like a play in the theatre. If you get a poor performance, you're going to boo the performers. Get a quality performance and you give them a standing ovation.

Currently we've had none of the former and lots of the latter, so booing is to be expected.

We are now 12th after manure win over cp.
After next round of games midweek we could be 15th with NF closing in as well. Wonder how the likes of Savva and the rest who kept saying we 2 points off top spot and still in LC and unbeaten in CL.

What I don’t get with Frank and Vinai / Lange / Paratici is they must have known that this season may need to be a rebuild. Or was it meant to work on and improve on foundations of last seasons EL cup win. Either way Frank has not done either. He has not really worked on rebuild of the team by playing and developing the youth and academy players. Or instilling a pattern of play. And he has not improved or built on last season both in performance and results. It’s like he is caught betw the two and is just making it up as he goes along. There appears to be no real plan of what we are trying to do esp in playing style. I would have thought he would instill a pattern of play then work on the players to carry that out. All his done is chop and change with no real idea of what we are trying to do. You can see from how we play when we have the ball. There is no idea of what we are doing. All we did yday was keep pumping in stupid balls to their box hoping one would stick. It really is just hope for the best football. We never even looked like scoring from a set piece.
Yeah there is no rebuild or any foundation building currently going on. Frank is changing tactics and players every game with no set style of play being worked on. There is no hope atm. I love to find something to cling onto but right now it feels like he's just totally our of his depth and changing his gameplan and team every week hoping something will work.

So it seems the players don’t like playing at home, the fans are getting pissed off at the players because the can’t win at home , and in the middle is the new manager who has no idea what his best team is and what tactics to adopt.

We are in a bad place again. Need to try and get kulu and Maddison back and see if we can get another couple of players to go straight into the first 11 in January
