Match Fulham V Tottenham Hotspur… Monday 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nope, I don't disagree with you. He has been one of our better players this season.

But.....only when he plays alongside Bentancur. He's actually been woeful at times alongside Skipp and/or Sarr. He was also pretty terrible alongside Winks.

It reminds me of how Berbatov carried Keane towards the end, King carried Dawson. Some players can look really good/adequate with the right player alongside them, but all at sea without them.

I just think Bissouma has a much higher ceiling and, with a run in the team, could be equally as important to us as Bentancur, rather than "only ok when Bentancur plays"

Hope that makes sense
I detest the ginger cunt but agree, looks three times the player alongside Bentacur

It comes to something when we are all fretting about an insignificant team like Fulham. They have no stars and were in the Championship last year.
We need to give Skippy a game as holding mfer. Richarlison in from the beginning and a new attitude from everyone else. Kane's face when Lloris let in the one at the near post was a picture ! Surely Conte drops Hugo to the bench tonight ?
I predict 2-0 to us . If we have ANY interest in CL football next year then we really have to win this one.
What has Skipp done in his games this season to make you think we "need" to start him?

He runs about like a brainless idiot lunging in and making foul after foul.
A for effort. E for quality.
In all his games for Spurs, there's been one game where I thought he looked decent and tbh, I can't even remember what one it was now.

What we "need" is to put out our strongest possible team and drop players who aren't performing. Lloris, Dire, Son they're letting us down, game after game.
Bentancur and Hoijberg in the middle aren't.

Will be a tough game tonight, hopefully we can win. I'm sure it will be the same team as Thursday though would like to see Richy come in for Son but not sure that will happen. Also love to see Lloris getting dropped but again probably won't happen.

I also really hope that we will win this important game.

I'm divided on the goalkeeper question. Hugo made some avoidable mistakes,
Fraser is a bit insecure about some things, but maybe that's just because he plays (too) rarely?

My tip we win 3:1

(Don't let me down!)

Has anyone else noticed the repetitive pattern of our matches this season (apart from City)? We seem to come out of the gates flying, with 10 mins of high intensity football. It's then the inevitable struggle until half time, often conceding 1 maybe 2 goals. Second half we come out with a superb energy about us, play our best football for 30 mins, and then let the game run out. It feels as though Palace and Woolwich were perfect depictions of this - in truth, we battered both of them in the early stages of the second half!

We have seen matches where we go from minute 1 and stay at the high intensity levels that we usually show in the second half - Leeds (A) and Norwich (A) last season spring to mind - arguably Frankfurt at home too. I get the sense that we bide our time for large parts of matches to save ourselves for 30 mins of high quality football in which we aim to score 2/3 goals. Perhaps with full week's rest between matches allows us to play this football for 60-90 mins - and that is where Conte notoriously flourishes. Perhaps with better squad depth we could play this way for 60-90mins every game... looking at you Levy!

I'm sure tonight will be no different. Fast start, sloppy 30 mins, high quality 30 mins, run game out. Regardless, more minutes for Deki and Rodrigo won't hurt. I'd like to see Lenglet start as well, first genuine mistake he's made and generally improves our back line - would be a good confidence boost. He does the same job as Boring Ben but has a better final delivery.

Big job for PEH and Bentancur in helping us play out from the back - we seem to have been getting stuck since Rodrigo's injury (no surprise) and breaking through the lines is the the key against a good Fulham midfield. Big night for Dier against Mitrovic, he has a good opportunity to prove why he should be starting at CCB - feels like some of the trust has been lost there recently?

Doherty over Emerson... please...?! I know he scored but a broken clock is right twice a day...

One final thing - if we aren't 2-0 up at 65 mins... please make a sub Antonio!! Gil in fine form and Richarlison itching to get on, left too late vs City when the wheels fell off. Sarr great sub option for Rodrigo post injury.

COYS - massive 3 points!

Can anyone here who is going tonight please make your voice heard about not being happy with the state of things.

Away fans are the noisiest Spurs fans. Make it heard.
