Still got that number 8 shirt ready for somebody in January as well.Couldn’t give a fuck what other people are saying, that was a gutsy performance and a deserved point. Missing 5 potential starters. Christ man can you imagine our squad when everyone is healthy? No depth? Fucking morons.
1GK Hugo Lloris (captain)
2DF Kieran Trippier
3DF Danny Rose
4DF Toby Alderweireld
5DF Jan Vertonghen (third captain)
6DF Davinson Sánchez
7FW Son Heung-min
10FW Harry Kane (vice-captain)
11MF Érik Lamela
12MF Victor Wanyama
13GK Michel Vorm
15MF Eric Dier
17MF Moussa Sissoko
18FW Fernando Llorente
19MF Mousa Dembélé
20MF Dele Alli
23MF Christian Eriksen
24DF Serge Aurier
29MF Harry Winks
33DF Ben Davies
2 of those guys wouldn’t even make the bench.
Well, yes, I suppose I am. To paraphrase Churchill: ‘If you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite’.Automumble did him a disservice, not me. Unless you count my lack of proof reading
Yeah, he was impressive in defence and linked well with Aurier and Winks. His ball control is still Bambi like at times but I'd say that's his best performance for us. Amazing that he chose to do it against RM.
And yet when he wants to use us to cunt off his own side he's happy.
I'm not trying to kill anyone Joe. I love the guy to bits, but it was sad to see him look so lost and estranged from what was going on.Well, yes, I suppose I am. To paraphrase Churchill: ‘If you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite’.
I think our team gave everything and performed as best they could however.....
We clearly missed Wanyama and Dembele, and had they not been injured, we could have won.
Winks, as hard as he tried was outclassed. With the defence, goalkeeper and forwards making up for the light midfield.
Lloris - amazing 10
Sanchez - rock solid 9
Aurier - gave penalty but solid under immense pressure 8.5
Aldeweireld - 8.5
Jan - fantastic game 9
Sissoko - came into it 8
Winks - tried hard but lacked bit of composure at times. 7
Eriksen - Didnt do enough, bad touches poort decisions 6
Dier - had to defend 8
Llorente - did well 8
Kane - needed service 8
Rose - great to have back 10 for turning up
Given your wannabe pundit qualities I am surprised you don't look up to them.I don't know how any of you can even watch the punditry when Spurs are on, you're just angering yourselves by doing so.
The only reason I know what the likes of Ferdinand, McManaman, Lampard, Hargreaves, Murphy, Shearer and wheoever else say about us is because it's posted on this forum. I make sure I purposely don't listen to their shit because they can't handle the fact that a team that pays the wages we do, with the lack of "world class talent" like we have are seemingly better run and more of a team than any of those teams around us.
It wasn’t Christian’s best game I admit. Thankfully the players around him put in a shift. Good times Mick.I'm not trying to kill anyone Joe. I love the guy to bits, but it was sad to see him look so lost and estranged from what was going on.
He set the bar high and I was really hoping that he would use this as the key point to exorcise the ghost of Modric.
Modric was magnificent though.
His touch, passing and link play was well below his performance standards. He was playing out of position. He did a good job as requested by the manager.
You won't believe this but I just found a fair report of tonight's game on the beeb;
