I'm enjoying not giving too much of a shit about the results.

Happy Willy scored. Would like us to play better. Don't want any injuries.

But it's refreshing to be pretty chilled about what happens otherwise.

Yes we know mate. We know.... You keep telling us.

You're an incredible supporter and a wonderful human being.

Fucking love me some Thursday night chaos and that was the epitome of it!

That game actually makes me think we can win this comp which I didn't really think before. To get that much experience into the squad. To keep going. To be the better team when a man down.

Key takeaways for me:

1) Need to find a way to protect Drag from himself. He needs a touch and time on the ball. If he doesn't have it, don't give it to him.

2) Maddison is cream. He can't/won't run the midfield by himself. Needs to play alongside two of Bents/Biss maybe Sarr. Needs to be better.

3) Biss looking like the Bissouma who ran the show for us early last year. Beast.

4) Gray is so raw but keeps on fighting. Bergvall needs to be mixed amongst much stronger teammates.

5) TNT comms are bigger dinosaurs than the usual suspects on here.

I don't even think he's that a good defender, maybe in a tussle or with the play right in front of him, but he gets skanked by the ball/cross in behind a lot.

Just don't see the rationale at all for his signing. If this is the data-led approach at work, then fuck.
I mean, I feel for him and even Dier personally, because I know what it is like to be a defender that is just getting done by pace or being asked to play out from the back when it is not on. I think he is instinctively a good defender, blocks shots in the box, he just would be better at Stoke.

As for the data-led approach, I do believe in it. However, our data-led recruitment has been poor ever since Pochettino signed his last contract with us, or our top recruitment guys went to Liverpool. For example, if you looked at the data of the N'Dombele signing, it was obvious at the time the man couldn't tackle and we were crying out for a defensive Kante-like midfielder. He was the player that played in front of Kante and beside him, he wasn't the Kante or Rodri player we needed and could have bought after the CL final.

Honestly I doubt I could play in Ange's style of team as a defender. And it is actually hard to recruit for. Unless you have the four best fastest high line ball playing centre-backs in the league, it doesn't work.

Tough night, but with the first team playing we batter that gala team. Tonight showed that our second string defence and Dragusin in particular are vulnerable to a good press.

Worrying perfromance from Bergvall again in the first half, just seems to be completely off the pace of top level football atm.

Sam matterface clearly doesnt watch the vast majority of spurs games - just painful commentary.

I see us winning 3 out of the 4 remaining games and progressing in the top 8 without much trouble

We piss these with a stronger team.

I'm annoyed we didn't start stronger.

Also think away the formula is to play two of Biss, Sarr and Bents. Otherwise we are too exposed.

Madders starting to look like a luxury player.

Positives : we didn't give up and gave them a scare in the end.

Best be beating Ipswich now so some of our fan base can have a wank about being ahead of the goons.
Agree on Madders. Son too. They need to be stronger physically. They have been playing in the EPL for years ffs. Which is why Werner is such a good player. If he can shoot he wouldn't be with us now. So the best thing he can do for us is running the channel which he's so good at while not being so soft like Madders and Son.

That performance was tragic. Try to find the positives, but ultimately it’s a loss to a team with Davison Sanchez at CB. And it’s just rash finishing that it was not 7 or 8 - 1 before we somehow sneak back a goal.

This inability to win away is going to be the reason this team win fuck all. It’s pathetic how often we look dire away from home.

Forget the score (proper robbery), that was utterly embarrassing. One of the worst Spurs performances of the past few years...Newcastle/Liverpool under Conte level. Honestly, Galatasaray could've Wigan'd us easy, we were that shocking. That's what happens when you're cocky and think you just gotta turn up..."right lads, we beat City & Villa, this gonna be a walk in the park." Well...

The day I don't have to see Porro in a Spurs shirt again will be a sweet one...glorified Aurier. As a former RB myself, he drives me nuts. Dragusin's agent can shut the heck up, his client isn't a serious CB. Kid from Sweden unbelievably poor...but only a boy and 8 ain't his best role. Sonny, Mads, Brennan in full ghost mode. Deki was poor too, brought nothing when he came on.

Frase, Archie, Biss (our MOTM) & Hot Rod the only ones who can hold their heads high. The rest shouldn't be paid (coaching staff included) and that money used to refund traveling fans.

Experience in what? Giving the ball away?
When we were giving chance after chance away play out stupidly from the back every time we should have mixed it up a bit for while. Play long a few times and they would commit less to the press and allow us to play out later in the match when they had tired.
Top job calling one of our greatest ever players a fucking idiot too
The bloke thought disabled people were paying a price for previous lives. Love the footballer - don't necessarily think I have to agree with his opinions.

As for the rest of it - we came here with an opportunity to learn about our squad in a game we didn't HAVE to win. Can they play the way we need them to? Job done as far I'm concerned.
