Some people really do live in a constant state of misery when it comes to Spurs 😂😂😂

Our injury ridden mixture of second and third string players lost to a full strength Galatasaray away from home. Shocking.

It's a disease amongst this fanbase, mind you I'm pretty sure some people are just trolling and are just being misery's for engagement and a reaction.

The not playing out from the back argument pisses me off as well - do people really think we are going to stop doing this in any game let alone this one for the sake of one result with the bigger picture being our style of play and ingraining it on ALL players in the squad for the future development of the team?
I am all for booting it long to protect a lead in the last ten mins or hitting Solanke the odd time during any game to mix it up or a proper clearance when under pressure but in possession where we should be comfortable on the ball and be able to control games? No way.

Defending a bit deeper and having two 6's is another conversation and I think we are a far better team with them but needs must and we can't sustain any more injuries.

you can just imagine what these people are like day to day cant ya. like them freaks they get on the X factor so everyone can have a laugh and ridicule them.

imagine enjoying watching your team give up 7 clear cuts while trying to play out from the back every time and losing the ball....yea, sounds like a healthy minded person. i dont think ive ever seen 7 clear cuts before. yet these mushrooms enjoyed it.

they must be gooners! theres no way spurs fans are saying thyeve just enjoyed a spurs game where weve faced 28 shots and 7 clear cuts! no fucking way! sad cunts wanna get a life, trying to wind spurs fans up on a spurs forum.

Nobody enjoyed the first half it was diabolical but to come away and almost snatch a draw with ten men with the team we put out isn’t bad at all given the first half.

There has to be context.

Hopefully there are no injuries.

If we don’t win Sunday after rotating like we did, then, is the time for some to melt. But not now 4 games into a EL campaign. Now is pathetic.

Tbf I don't think it's the loss it's the manner.

I'm being balanced I think because I expected us to lose but it does show how poor the second string is, and how bad our depth is.

Well, that's mostly because of injuries and squad registration more than anything

Spence, Romero, Van de Ven all injured or not registered. Even having Spence available and one of those partnering Dragusin would have seen us look better, whilst rotating.

Also raised question marks about how our depth is basically all teenagers and the issues that raises. Bergval and Lankshear despite the goal looked lost and like what they where, men v boys.

Again, injuries or squad registration

Richarlison would have started today if he was fit. Bergvall is our 6th choice central midfielder. SIXTH.

These teenagers aren't starting meaningful games but being able to get them minutes at their age for development is pretty incredible.

Drag again had a stinker and the LB and GK situation again raises big questions. And again Madison didn't look great.

Big questions about what?

We know we need a back up goalkeeper and Spence should have been registered. They're not big questions. It's a repetitive question that will need answering come January or next summer.

Just shows to me the first 11 is good and the system isn't a big issue. The issue is to me a lot of players in that second string don't suit the way we wanna play or are actual children who shouldn't be being asked to play as many minutes as they are yet.

What today told everyone was what it tells every single football clubs fans when you tend to rotate heavily (mostly due to injuries)

It's hard to develop fluidity in the build up and in possession when these players don't play regularly.

I'm not particularly arsed. This result does absolutely nothing to the team. We are still going to qualify. We rested most of our best players but also kept them match fit and didn't get any further injuries.

We looked lost without Sarr Kulu and Solanke to carry that press and as much as I've bemoaned his defensive ability Romero to carry the ball out from the back

Most teams look lost without key players. That's football unfortunately.

Jesus, City lose just ONE (Rodri) and they look a mess at times.

We started today with a 40 year old goalkeeper. A teenage midfielder at left back. Our third and fourth choice centre backs. A teenager in central midfield and a teenager in attack. Ended up with 10 men and still only lost 3-2.
