Ex-Spurs Player Gareth Bale

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

How pathetic is it that people like this exist? Billy big bollocks on the internet, I'm certain he'd be the first to hide under a table if a row broke out. You aren't impressing anyone by calling people names in a forum. It's just a really, really sad way to live your life.

Anyway, it seems those journalists at www.nononsensefootball.com set up the site to stop all this sort of speculation crap being reported in the newspapers - or to at least sort it out. I've been following it since January and they don't seem to get anything wrong.

I can see Madrid definitely bidding, but can't see us letting him go. No way.
Good site at first look, thanks for this DLR.

Real Madrid could if they wanted to. They also have a lot of good players to add in a player + cash bid.
A lot of good players on very good money, they won't get that at Tottenham. As for Real being backed by the banks, maybe they are, but banks do like to get their money back, with interest. Real are in the same boat as all the other big guns, if they are not succesful on the pitch, they suffer financially, they are gambling heavily on the future, there is only one way that is going to end up. FFP will start to take effect eventually once all the loopholes and fiddles are plugged. It's going to take a big club to fail for the other clubs to start taking notice. Although not exactly the same, who would of thought that Rangers would be plying their trade in the bottom rung of Scottish football due to financial shenanigans.
The way that transfer fees, wages, image rights etc are going it won't be long before something gives, whether it be a club, financial institution, individual billionaire. Also if the ordinary man/woman on the street can no longer afford to subsidise the game, it will lose its cash flow, and as we all know, it is not just a game anymore, it is a business. Ultimately, people do not continue to run business's that are failing. As for the Bale situation, like I have said before, I genuinely think that if he went, it would be for footballing reasons, rather than financial, and given the uncertainty at Real at the moment I don't think that they have the pull that they had a couple of seasons ago, there is also a bit of player unrest aswell, which as we know can affect things on the pitch. I think he will stay and try to build on the success that is being built around HIM. He won't be the centre of attention anywhere else, indeed, won't be guaranteed a start anywhere else. At the moment, it's a win/win for Bale at Tottenham, lets just hope the club matches his ambition.

The Tottenham star, 23, has been spotted wearing special non-slip socks, which claim to help anchor a player’s feet inside his boots, improving traction and increasing acceleration.
Did someone say foot like a traction engine? RockTrumpet RockTrumpet , you're needed.

Bale lifts the lid on how AVB’s rule differs from Redknapp’s
He told Sport magazine: “Harry was more ‘go out there and play how you feel and express yourself’. With Andre, there’s a certain shape and a style we play.

“I think Harry was more free and let you do what you want. Andre does that too, but there’s a lot more tactical work.

“I think it’s something that’s good to learn. We’ve done well this year and I think that’s down to our defending as well as attacking.”
