Ex-Spurs Player Gareth Bale

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You couldn't find a player who is less likely to fulfil the Tottenham transfer criteria. Levy likes to sign young players, on relatively modest wages, who haven't suffered serious injuries.
The only exception would be if they could organise some kind of loan deal with Madrid, where Madrid still pay some of Bale's wages, but I think Bale is holding out for a permanent move and only a small selection of clubs would be willing to pay his wages.

If Levy has a Madrid starting to get anxious to clear some of the wages of their books, this starts to look like his kind of deal.

A Madrid that's getting itchy is a Madrid that will start talking structuring the wages Spurs have to pay in terms of bonuses and incentives, and that's when our bald little friend starts licking his lips.

Imagine Stevie B coming in all full of 'can-do spirit' in January.....

Debut: Decisive goal against City >>> Injuries to our best players >>>> He gets injured >>>> Covid >>>> Bale incoming.

Question is which Bale will we end up with.....?

I still don't think he is coming back, and frankly not excited by the idea of it at all. It feels backwards and kind of lame, like pining for an old girlfriend that dumped your ass years ago.
