Legend Graham Roberts

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

One of my favourites. He does tend to wear his heart on his sleeve. But I'd rather that than not showing his feelings.
Likewise, in my top 5 all time list, even though he played for other clubs that I don't have much time for.

Committed, loyal, no-messing about, John Hollins in the moat at Highbury, the two-fingered salute along the touchline at the same venue, all excellent stuff. However, and whilst I don't expect players to be 'brains-of Britain', once you start mouthing off in public you need to be a bit more circumspect, in my opinion. I'm surprised TalkSPORT haven't made use of his services.

Nevertheless, happy birthday, GR.

Happy birthday to a proper Spurs cult hero.
1984 will forever be etched in my memory.

His purpose in life now seems to be flogging signed spurs memorabilia. Just shows the difference incomes between footballers now and then.

My story

My dad Graham Roberts is currently undergoing radiotherapy treatment and brachytherapy for prostate cancer. Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes – that's half a football match. But it doesn’t have to be this way. This October, I’m joining Prostate United by walking, 5km every day with my fellow football fans to help save men’s lives. Dad is also going to try and walk each week as well after his treatment. Sponsor me to help fund lifesaving research for men and their families affected by this disease. Thank you 💙
