Player Guglielmo Vicario

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

shit news. He was brilliant at the weekend as well.
Speedy recovery Vic.
Will be watching Spurs games from behind the sofa until he’s back if we have to rely on big Fraser in the meantime.
It’s the stuff of nightmares.

Yeah gutted for Vic, fantastic game from him and incredible he finished it. Looked so assured as well.

But the comments on Forster are harsh I think. All seem to have forgotten that he helped keep the score in Galatasaray down in single digits. Pretty sure he came out of his box twice to successfully stop attacks / chances. He's a solid professional who will always give his best.
Don't think it's the disaster it's being painted as, not optimal, but we just have to get on with it and give him our support.

Some of the coming games you'd think opposition would look to foul the GK on corners etc, but they can't do that with the big man there, he'll bury them. Perhaps nullifying those threats with Forster might help us accumulate more points...

Fulham, Bournemouth, Chavs, Southampton, WOLVES, FOREST, they would have loved to rough up Vic...probably dippers as well. At least 3 of those could be low blocks so the fine margins not conceding from a foul at a corner (fouls never given to us) would be very important.

Spot on.

Forster's first couple of appearances filled me with dread, but with a bit of match time his confidence and play has improved (surprise surprise). The decisions to include him the the Europa squad at Spence's expense, and to even start him when Vic was fit, copped heaps of criticism. And I was inclined to agree with it at the time. But now both are looking like smart decisions.

Still, get well quickly Vic, pleeeeeeeeeeease!

With Davies , dragusain and Forster as our back three triangles we might not be as fragile fron set pieces etc.
He and dragu will clear every man, woman or child who gets crossed into the box!!!

Got to hand it to him. When I broke my ankle, I was immobile for two months and needed physiotherapy to learn how to walk again. I guess it depends on which bones you break as to whether the leg is able to weight-bear or not.

I wish Vicario all the best for his recovery and hope he is able to find the silver linings in this adverse situation.

Might as well go for Heurelho Gomes
change let GIF

Still trying to get my head around the decision to give Austin a contract and then proceed to play Forster over him and even hamper the el squad by including FF.
No one here is likely to have much of an idea as to how good he is, but a 4/5 year contract at 25 would imply that in the summer he was rated enough by the club.

He always looks good in training. Super fast at hitting the turf for those bottom corner attempts (the thing Fraser absolutely cannot do). But we've only seen him play once or twice I think. Unless he gets a string of games, we'll never really be able to assess him.
