Absolute clown. And I’m tired of him lashing out at others for his own fucking mistakes. Extremely good shotstopper, but useless everywhere else, be it corners, leadership, playing it out from the back etc.

I really wanted to seen an outfield player scream at him the way he he has done all the time here. Particularly Bergvall who seems to have been his biggest victim.
He really is Gomes 2.0, capable of some wonder saves, but totally undoes it with these moments of utter clownishness.
You need a keeper that the players trust, it totally fucks the rest of the defence and the team as a whole if they don’t trust him.
My team up here, Dundee United, are going through a similar situation with our Ukrainian keeper. He’s capable of some brilliant saves, he can’t deal with cross balls or set pieces and punches every ball he comes for, he’s scored 3 own goals in 12 games, 2 of which were corners that he punched into his own net. It’s affecting the whole team, and the players have just lost all faith in him, and he’s clearly making them nervous as a whole. Vicario, I think is doing the same thing.

yep, it affects the outfield players massively having a clown like that in goal, not just from him having clown moments, but his passing out is such a poor standard, its a fight for them to get it under control properly in the first place.
dont wanna see him again, hes not good enough, its simple as that. would rather kinsky, at least he can kick a ball properly. a keeper that can actually pass a ball properly will help change the dynamic massively.

- His non-existent ball playing ability puts CBs he passes the buck to under great pressure at all times for example. Since teams don't consider him a threat on the ball, they simply apply some token pressure to him before running at those defenders at full force.
- Similar story with set pieces: He can barely claim a cross rising from a crowd, so the others are naturally under greater pressure. More so with this leaguewide set piece mania.
