Player Guglielmo Vicario

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Vicario's had a pretty bad season and is an infuriating keeper, but find it weird that people are talking up other shit keepers in comparison. Gazzanigga was fucking awful (you should see some of the gaffes he's made in Spain too) and Kinsky's shot-stopping just isn't there at all.

Vic needs to go, but he's not the worst keeper ever and still has some of the best pure shot-stopping numbers in the entire league, even when we're complete shit. And in recent games against Atletico and Pool he made 2 absolutely incredible saves 90% of keepers don't make.

I don't think Vic will be too fondly remembered when he inevitably leaves in the summer, but I do think there are lots of worse keepers out there.

People will be telling me he's worse than Gollini next...

Really? I thought it was quite refreshing to watch a keeper deal with crosses and corners competently, but that's just me I guess.

Agree on the last point.
And what happens when he resorts to the guy who lets shots go through him and has poor footwork causing goals?

He's too big a risk to keep, only Spurs fans would forgive his previous multiple fuck ups after two adequate performances

Again, I agree on the last point. Both should go.

But over the last two games, I feel better having him over Vicario who makes everyone panic.

Been decent the past 2 but I'd loan Kinsky out next season. Think there could be a player there but he's too risky to have us our number 1 next season, whichever division, and he won't develop enough as a number 2. If he's ever gonna make it the lad needs games.

And ofc Vic needs to go.

Much as I've never liked Glug, Ian Walker and Kasey Keller must be up there

Walker started out OK but progressively lost confidence, form, his place in the team, his hair and then his Mrs to Simon Jordan.

He was still better than Vic in my opinion though.

Neil Sullivan, who was sandwiched in between Walker and Keller, was one of the best goalkeepers I have ever seen @ Spurs.

Hoddle's managerial decision, to bin Sullivan off, in favour of Keller, was one of the worst choices Hoddle ever made.

Keller was probably as bad as Vic so that is a good shout.

Vics another player who will be gone in the summer regardless of league status. Has he ever won us a game with a series of worldie saves like so many keepers seem to do against us.
