I don't remember the exact incident but I think in the first half he was either claiming a high ball or sweeping up, he seemed to catch his boot in the turf and invert his ankle a bit.
We need be brave and give him a chance
Yep ... With a laymans opinion ... I'de agree 3 months minimum .. Any pro medics on here?
Many have already given up hope with our med team..... Maybe we should go down the witch doctor route instead:

Forster would be a perfectly fine 3rd choice, largely due to being HG, relatively cheap, experienced, not gonna kick up a fuss about not playing, and most importantly almost never going to actually play. Like how Scott Carson has been hoovering up medals at City all these years. The thing is that injuries can bite you at any time, and luck will come and go. People are going to put this down just to bad luck but it ain’t that.
Squad planning must plan for all the eventualities. Forster should’ve never been an option at any point in our planning, but here we are.

Can he just play with a cast???Good news that Ange included Forster in EL squad, with Austin available as a back up.
Question is how long is Vicario out for - but surgery suggests a minimum of 2 months out and maybe 3 or even 4 months out to me.
We could play both of them at the same time and still probably struggleWho are the reserves behind Forster? Whiteman and Austin - surely one of those might be worth a try too..
The average recovery time for a broken ankle is 6-8 weeks. But that's for daily life so you'd expect a couple weeks more for him to be ruled fit for competitive sports.
