in terms of actual shot stopping, he might be top 5..rest of his game dilutes him overall though. to be fair, he is what he is. he shouldnt be getting asked to play out as much when hes clearly not good with his feet. when you have a striker like solanke you can go long and anticipate the second ball.

Sure and sometimes (when he's ever fit) I'd like us to switch to a sort of 4 4 2 when we need a goal, and play Richarlison and Solanke as L and R strikers, and get our AMF player arriving late for scraps, It's ugly but with what we have it's an option that ought not be ignored.

He plays his part in this team's utter inability to defend crosses with how he either refuses to come out at all, or cannot clear the danger in a way that a proper keeper should be doing.

He's a good shot stopper, and even this is not without qualifications by the way, and nothing else. Not a very pleasant keeper to play in front of for defenders.

Is it time to admit he doesn't suit the PL?

Seems to be alright in Europe but can't hack how physical the PL is IMO.

We haven't played well as a team but we would have won the last 2 PL games without him. At fault for what 4 goals in the last 2 PL games?
