Player Guglielmo Vicario

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Explain to me how many more times this season Vic is going to play a pass into the feet of a player with his back to goal and a man right up his arse and it cost us a goal BEFORE he wakes up and realises its too risky?

If it were me I would make that mistake maybe once or twice. And something would trigger in my head thats its risky and its fucking dumb. He did it just the other fucking week against PSG with a wankhorn pass into Romero that cost us a goal...

He has the football IQ of a cube of rowntrees Lemon Jelly.

I'm not saying that Gray didn't contribute with his extra touch, but if you can't play out of the back competently Don't fucking do it....

And yeah I'm aware that they are being coached to play out of the back but when you can see the guy has a man up his arse, just don't risk it.
Just lump it!

Best case scenario is Gray turns it around the corner to VDV or Porro who aimlessly lump it anyway... so its just needless.

Being this angry while simultaneously being wrong is not a good look.

The pass was fine. Gray just needed to turn it first time to Romero who was wide open and was the triangle that exact play had been trained for - Gray knows that. Everyone knows that. Except the permanently angry and permanently wrong people like your good self.

So weird people have to make up shit to be angry at Vic for when there's loads of legitimate shit he's actually responsible for :D

People don't like Vic and Gray is the darling upstart and they can't separate agendas.

I'm not saying that Gray didn't contribute with his extra touch,
go and watch the pass back, he has to take a touch, its to his left foot and bobbles along to him. its a dog shit pass from a cunt with clown feet, you get that a lot from cunts with clown feet. shitty bobbled passes that arent even accurate and timed well.

if youre going to play that triangle, you need to pass it crisply to the player whos coming to yous right foot, if its bobbling along the grass and going to their left foot, its almost impossible for them to play it first time with their right foot, the only way they can do this is if they gamble that you are going to play a shitty bobbled pass to their weak foot.

It's a 'bounce' pass the vast majority of professional footballers should be able to deal with.

Gray just miscontrolled it.
It’s a stupid pass to play in that area of the pitch.

City probably play that pass but they have vastly superior players in both positions, who play a better initial pass and the receiver hits it first time out to Romero.

Vic has full view of the pitch and makes the wrong choice.

It's just not a good pass though, onto his wrong foot as well which didn't help.

Gray should of gone for no touch but Vicario contributes to that mess as well.

If he passes to his right foot then he turns into the area of 3 Forest players.

The pass on his left foot should have enabled him to open his body up and pass to Romero, it's so simple

At the end of the day he miscontrolled it and lost the ball, shit like that happens when you play high risk/high reward football.

Literally every team who plays professional football plays that 'bounce' pass from the keeper to the player showing for the ball, it's hardly a revelation, it's not a bad ball because it entices the press and breaks the defending team's pressing shape - it's a very basic move.

It's only 'stupid' when it fucks up, Vic's been playing that ball all season and we've got out of a press, today it fucked up - shit happens.

Vicario dawdles on the ball and by the time he decides to play it (poorly) the defender is already on Gray.

Look where Romero is - That's a first time pass every top level footballer should be able to pull off even on their weaker foot - the reality is that he mis controlled the football (it happens)

If he's given the exact same pass again Gray 99/100 Gray gets out of that situation, he just dealt with the pass poorly.

Yes but he invited the press to someone with there back to the pitch where he had full view...

If he wanted to invite the press properly put your foot on the ball, scan to someone who also can, invite then pass...

GK do this all the time...Vic fukked it simple...

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. You have posted the equivalent of a total of almost 2.5 pages in defence of Vicario in this thread alone. Time to stop now?

Nothing I've written about Vicario is factually wrong. It's not a "defence" - it's reality. As I've consistently said I'm happy to upgrade once we've sorted our bigger problems.

Now run along, love, the adults are talking.
