I guess he should get 20k per week then, since that's also obscene.

200k is enough money for a family, but when his colleagues make 30 percent more, that's what his wages will be judged on. Should not the players get paid as much as the market dictates, and how much revenue they create?

If he wants a pay rise then he wants a pay rise, I've no qualms with that, what does annoy me is fans advocating for him as if he's some PoW that should be freed from the torture of ONLY earning £200k per week.

Easy to say in hindsight. Kane is miles better than Moura and most managers would have done the same thing. Moura's performance that night was an absolute anomaly, I think he's managed just 7 league goals since then.

You can see in his body language he wants out in that interview as well, has no faith in the owners to deliver what is required for trophies.
 
Hmm. The desire to go looks like it could be there, whether or not a team offers enough for Kane is another matter. Firmly of the opinion that if Kane goes, we should try to sell Son as well and build a new team.

If Kane goes we will be a bottom half club for the foreseeable future, even if we got £150m for him, it doesn't go far in football these days.

Especially when you have owners with no football IQ and an awful scouting system.

What we SHOULD be doing is getting a manager in who is fit for purpose and then spending whatever it takes to rebuild the team whilst keeping our best players and giving them wages on par with other top clubs, speculate to accumulate.

But we know that won't happen under these rancid fucking snakes.
 
I feel like this could be the warning shot to Levy. He makes reference to the team getting better in the summer, so I think he is here for one more season only, unless something changes.

Right now his torture is not the wages , its levy's pennypinching with the rest of the squad which means the team wont win shit. Thats the real torture for him. For his sake he has to free himself and go to club that wants to win trophies and such.

So all the best players should just be allowed to trot off and join Man City so that they can win the trophies they 'deserve'.

Thank god football was saved last week so that we could preserve the integrity of the game...

I just saw the interview on Sky and it isn't a good watch. He looks very sheepish when saying it. Not good at all.

But it is yet more negativity around us. Do they ever want to show us in a good light?

Well after how long one of the best players in the world has stayed with a shit owner club, he does deserve to win something at a club that cares about winning over profit. Cunts like Bale ran away at hte first chance they got, Kane has given many many years to us.
 
He looks completely fucking demoralised and tired of this team.
