I mean I guess we'd get 3/4 more years out of him but we'd be rewarding his treachery?
He can leave on a free on June 30, 2024. If paying him a market rate salary extends that date we should do it.
If giving him a release clause extends that date we should do that as well, within reason. I suspect the existence and precise terms of any such clause will be the major sticking point, but again, we gain massively by extending the date at which he can leave on a free, we should want to make significant effort to do that if it’s possible.
