Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Utter disgrace today, moping about like somebody has stolen his lunch money.

No excuse to not even challenge centre backs on loose balls or passes fired his way. If he can't even be arsed to put a shoulder into a CB to contest then it's game over.

Klopp puts fucking Mane on the bench today. The form he's in this year and he can do that in their biggest game so far this season.

That's how big clubs and real managers roll. One of our biggest problems is we were the 'Harry Kane team' for too long.

You should never build the entire attacking system of a club around 1 player unless they are Ronaldo/Messi level and we all know Kane isn't that.

You are right but I suspect tiredness or maybe a slight injury.

And of course he has 3 or 4 options.

What do we have?

No worse than Son today. In fact Son had much more of the ball but did just as little with it.
Mate, Harry Kane has been one of our worst players this season. Bottom three. Son doesn’t have anything with Kane being nonexistent and nothing like the player we knew a few seasons ago.

I thought this week might have been a turning point but clearly it’s not. Seems that his time as an elite footballer is all but finished.

Eriksen 2.0 here we come.

I think Son gets away with that because he does at least have that bit of pace to track back and close down. The sprint when he lost the ball towards the end being an example. We all know Kane isn't making that recovery run if he'd have lost the ball.

But you're right Son wasn't great today either but then he signed a new contract and didn't spend all summer trying to leave the club....

In Kane's case if you make your bed you have to lie in it.

He gets away with shit performances far too much. He often has games where he's wank but because he "loves Spurs" most people turn a blind eye.

He was dog turd today. I wanted him gone months ago and still want him gone. But Son was equally as rotten and yet barely anyone comments about that as per usual.

Neither was good today. But when one of them sprints the length of the pitch at the end of the match to close down a chance (and that one has done nothing but express his devotion to the club), and the other doesn’t break a sweat on the day and seemed to be checking out the clouds instead of marking his man on the decisive goal (and that one gives bullshit wantaway interviews and bungles about with his brother trying to find an exit all offseason), you get a very different sense of commitment, and you earn different levels of forgiveness and patience.

We looked a happier team the first couple of games when Kane had his self imposed exile.

That's Son's game though. Part of it. He has tons of energy, a fair bit of pace and he can run all day. Kane has never done that. Lucas Moura also does it, but he's absolutely shit. Today Son's quality with the ball was the same as Harry's - Nowhere to be seen. Both were awful even if one ran more than the other.

Does anybody seriously blame Kane for wanting to leave? The club is in utter shambles. Theres fuck all direction from the owners. You may dislike Kane now but you cant dispute his goal scoring ability. He’ll waste the prime of his career, win absolutely fuck all, and will never be remembered in sporting memories.

Should have took the money and moved on.

There were mugs here actually praising Levy for not accepting less than the 140 million or whatever it was that kept getting branded around. Lmao.

He offers zero press. Maybe for an elite team you can get away with that. For a team like us he becomes a passenger defensively. Yh hes still class technically and is obviously one of our best players, but I think it's at the least a very legitimate question to ask whether wed be better off with 100m to invest and 250k off the wage bill by selling him (if possible)
