He looks sharp, the last few big chances (including that very unfortunate ‘offside’ goal vs Southampton) he’s put away ruthlessly. His first touch and finishing has been back on form, and he’s also looking more mobile. Numerous moments where he’s powered past defenders.
But we can’t be giving our main striker this kind of service. The quality of crosses in to the box needs to radically improve, and let’s not get started on the lack of incisive passing from midfield.
Maybe Conte is the guy to finally get a tune out of GLC. Seems like he really doesn’t fancy Ndombele.
You fundamentally fail to understand that shots don’t = service, so I don’t know what I can do for you I’m afraid.
If you think Kane having outside the box shots having beat 2 defenders to make space is other players servicing him with chances, you live in your own little world.
He’s had service in some games this season and failed. The last time that happened was against Liverpool. Against Palace he scored with the only chance given, against Southampton the same but bizarrely given offside, against Watford there were no chances. He had 0.26 xG from the entire game.
The problem with this is that he'll be next to worthless by then. I don't trust our scouts to find a cheap consistent goal scorer and I don't trust Levy to cough up for a known, proven one.
It's why I've said it doesn't matter so much who we have up front, whether it's Kane, Vlahovic or prime Batistuta. Our current team and lack of creativeness will hinder any striker. That's not to say that Harry himself isn't also responsible as he has missed chances you would normally expect him to bury. But I feel for any forward we have or will bring in with our current midfield and full-backs.
But at least now the whole "he's not trying", "he's now a Doncaster player" narrative has died down a lot.
I’ve never claimed shots equal service, but you’re talking as if all his shots are from outside the box.
Also, players shooting from long range doesn’t equate to poor service.

There was a shot he took and missed to the right in front of wide open Son early in the game. In form Kane would have scored or passed to Son who clearly was open and would have had easier shot for the net. Kane is better and getting better since Conte though. Whether he stays orleave I have high hope in Conte finding the optimal football for the team
He definitely souls be off free kicks for good, and given that he says himself that he’d rather Have team accolades than personal accolades. It’s strange that he keeps taking them. I can only think that in training everyone else is even worse at free kicks.
I don’t think it’s fair to call him selfish generally though. He’s made more big chances and more let passes than any other Spurs player this season despite having a poor season by his standards.
He has an open chance to score yesterday but was way wide of the target. Also had Son lurking in the middle. Should have done a lot better there.

yes, his actions suggest that the rest is just talk. I've seen training shots of both Son and Dier doing very well on free kicks and both have scored in games.
Not sure he created more chances than all other players? What do you base that on?
Dunno how this is so confusing. Kane has had overall a shit season but has come out of that in recent games and has been finishing well.
Did you have an issue with his finishing against Southampton, Palace or Watford? Because we created maybe 2 chances for him in all those games. He was predicted barely a quarter of an xG against Watford.
In recent games WHEN GIVEN CHANCES he has looked clinical. This doesn’t excuse the horrific season he was having beforehand, but I’m still not blaming him for not scoring vs Watford when the team creates fuck all in that particular game.
He should’ve hit the target for sure but by xG it was far from a big chance. And that was it. If a 0.10 xG chance is the best thing you create for your CF all game then you have problems.
He did very well to test the keeper from outside the box. Son had the best chance of the game and missed it.
Don't fall under the same trap that I did. Sammyspurs is nothing but a troll and for some weird reason, NDomBadBoy, who generally has a bit more sense, humours him like he has some kind of weird crush. For eg. Mantud have 30 goals but created 32 'bigchances'. We have 23 goals and also created 32 'big chances'. Our attackers are not as good as them.
