Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

100m or 200m matters fcuk all, means nothing

Harry Kane is irreplaceable.
And this has been our mistake all these years. Berba was irreplaceable, but we did fine after he left. Modric was irreplaceable but we did fine after he left. Bale was irreplaceable, but we did fine after he left.

And then we stopped selling our "irreplaceables" which resulted in the squad getting stale. Eriksen, Dele, Rose, even Son after the 21/22 season. We could have gotten a combined 200 million for the first 3, which would have allowed us to bring in new talent and freshen things up (assuming we spent it wisely and not on the dross we signed once we had the cash).

Now it's Kane's turn. We shouldn't be afraid to sell him. As long as we spend the money wisely, we'll be fine. Dortmund sell their best player every other year and still get the new best thing. We should aim to do the same.

Yeah, I think this is going to get done. It isn't even dragging on like the Bale deal did (completed on deadline day or thereabouts if I recall correctly).

There's also zero chance that Real goes hard for the transfer if Kane and his camp didn't give it the green light.

As I've said earlier in the thread, this is probably not the worst thing that could happen and we're going to have a proper reset which may be aided somewhat by the money.

Some nonsense report, don't be so gullible lol

We replaced Berbatov with Frazer fucking Campbell and finished 8th. I agree we should recycle players but I have little faith in our scouting and deal making

Dortmund have a "stable" structure that's been" stable" for almost 30 years now, with a scouting network that knows what they're doing and a board that appoints head coaches that reflects the "DNA" of the club...

Who cares who we replaced him with? Did we make CL and consistently finish in the top 5-6? Did we finish top 4, challenge for the title, and make the CL final after Bale left? It's not about who specifically you bring in to replace a specific player, it's how you improve the team.
