There is no winning mentality or culture at Spurs because we never win anything. It is what it is.
And I hope it does anger people. We could do with a bit more anger as opposed to ‘vibes’.
Some on here sound like Gooners and Dippers when talking about Kane.

What a weird statement from him. If you want to say something nice about Bayern - just say that there is a pressure of winning every match, you enjoy it and don’t bring Spurs into that. If on the other hand you are mentioning how its different now vs his time at Spurs, then grow some balls and say who was responsible for that. If its Levy, say explicitly that management didn’t put pressure to winning everything and had different targets. If the issue were players - say it. Its very convenient to label everyone as single entity - as a Club - but then its very unfair for fans - cause we always want to win every game.

All of us that are apathetic to protests owe the Levy/ENIC out protesters a debt of gratitude because they are the only ones pressuring the club to win.
We’re in a league with 9 very good teams and 7 of the worlds richest clubs. It’s a difficult league. Bournemouth spent more than Bayern this summer. That’s the reality of our league.
In Germany Bayern have won 10 in row - of course the expectation is to win! Even in a year where they aren’t their best their rivals hand the league title to them on the last day!

I saw a lot of Enic outers on twitter being like ‘no no can’t you see this is a dig at the ownership, Kane exactly agrees with me!! Can’t you see!!’ Etc
Even if that was the case and I don’t accept it is do people think levy is giving weekly meetings to the staff and players being like ‘no worries lads! No real expectations to win here’ even if he thought that players wouldn’t hear it regularly. I’m sure conte Mourinho etc didn’t talk like that and players also have to have their own winning mentality both as an individual and a collective.

I think the thing about it that is probably rubbing people the wrong way, is that he's sort of distancing himself from the failures as if none of it was on him. He's blaming the club, despite the fact that there were plenty of times he didn't show up in the biggest matches. Blaming the club let's himself off the hook, even though he was one of our most important players during the period of time where we were "close, but not quite."
So, Kane feels 'hurt' that he didn't win trophies at Spurs. I know that feeling very well. I felt massively hurt when he didn't turn up in the Champion's League Final. Massively hurt.
Unless you are a u14 you should never be getting emotionally attached to players. Example 497.

Football fans are hilarious precious beings aren't they. We have been highly critical or our club, the owners, the culture that's been set, yet when one of our ex players say it, who are actually better positioned to make the observation, it's meltdown galore...Omg how dare he, who does he think he is!!

Tbf it's impossible for 1 player to instill a winning mentality to a whole squad if a large portion of the team are full of players that simply don't care AND the people above don't seem fussed about improving much either.
That was possibly the most stupid thing he could ever have said.
