Kane gave us the prime physical years of his career and then earned us 100m. You act like a jilted lover over it, he’s our record goalscorer.

I do wonder if stuff like him clearly still getting disrespected in the Ballon d'Or count gives us a better chance to get him back. He's gone to Germany and blitzed it, but has realised that won't make him the global superstar that his football ability should make him. 13th looks extremely low for a player of his quality, but he wasn't as good last season for Bayern than the one previous, and also had an ordinary Euros. He looks fitter and sharper this season while Bayern are also stronger on top of the other Bundesliga teams being weaker. If he stays fit he will beat Lewandowski's record this season.
He lacks the marketability/charisma to push him further. So the fact that he got to 13th on skill alone is quite impressive. But this is just as much a popularity competition as it is a skill one.
