Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

i love Kane and hope he does a Totti and stays for all his career, the boy is a winner and a much better all round player than he gets credit for, as he has done all his career he will come back bigger and stronger than ever , dont forget he is truly one of our own and we are very lucky to have him

On a scale of 1-10 how badly do you want people to think Kane is better and more valuable than he is at this point in his career?

....and you're some kind of oracle on his true market value are you? Lol

Why is it so important to you to ram home this bullshit idea that he is injury prone, old and past it.....?

I've yet to mention notions of value or price tag.

I'm simply seeing gaping holes in your reasoning and take great pleasure in pointing them out as I enjoy Harry being part of our team.

He's worth enough to us to want to keep him.....

If he's as shit as you insist then we'll get fuck all for him anyway.

If he wants to stay in the premier league, where else is he going to go? Realistically, the only EPL teams that any elite player would want to play for are Liverpool, City, Spurs, Utd and maybe Chelsea. Kane would have to fight for a spot on Liverpool and City and both clubs wouldn't be dumb enough to pay a massive premium for a striker with injury histories which leaves Kane with Utd, Chelsea and Spurs to choose from. Between Utd and Chelsea, I think you gotta go with Utd. His options are really limited if you think about it.
I don't think his options are that limited if he comes onto the market I'm sure there will be takers, in a better team than ours with the right service and players around him I think he is back to 30 goals a season who wouldn't want that.

If Harry Kane was available for transfer every single club in the world would want to buy him. Every single one.
Only a few could afford him and would be where he wanted to go. But his options are limitless.

I’d agree with you. I think Harry has missed the boat in terms of a move. I suspect with all his injuries the likes of Real Madrid and City who he was regularly linked with a few seasons back would be quite wary of him now.
Barca would have Neymar back in a heartbeat and pay big money. Same age and worse injury record than Harry.
City would be at the head of any queue for Harry.

The entire story is dreamt up by the press imo - they still haven't come to terms with the fact that United are an 'also ran' now.
I spoke to some of my Man U supporting friends and they don't even particularly want him. They'd prefer to see the club investing in developing Greenwood.

Obviously that is a very small sample size of their fanbase but surely there are more of them that want to see Greenwood developed considering he is already having a positive impact in their first team.

Any ambitious team in the world would love to have Harry in their team. If he was to go to City the title next year would be theirs and Harry would score at the rate of a goal a game at least. I hope he stays with us and continues to score the goals he has for the last 5 years or more

Rooney, now Derby County player-coach, believes Harry Kane will set a new benchmark for the Three Lions.

"I don't think it will take long for Harry Kane to claim my England record and it would be a proud moment for me," he added.

"If I were building a team, he is the one I'd start with."

I don't understand, why wouldn't he want to sell him to improve the squad?

According to the press he wants to join United to win the PL - they have only finished above us once out of the last four PL seasons
True but before the season ended they were getting their shit together I think they would have finished above us.
Let's not forget 3/4 seasons above them is nothing compared to what trophies they were gobbling up previously.
They are much more likely to get back amongst it again than we ever will, they have the dollar and are willing to spend big to achieve that.

It takes two to make a deal happen. Why would Kane want to go to any other team in the EPL other than the ones I mentioned. Secondly, what teams can realistically afford a 150 million price tag? That limits the bidding pool down to the big clubs. Out of the big clubs, who needs a elite striker? Limits the bidding pool down to a couple teams.

Rooney is an Englishman... are you surprised? lol
How many trophies have teams built around Harry Kane won? Just for my reference.
