Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Saving himself for the euros now and after his injury scare the other week, and ones in previous seasons, he just doesn’t want to pick up another injury. Can’t really blame him now with the season a dead rubber.

Chelsea fans are thinking he could go there as he doesn’t want to leave London and Tammy Abraham and 1 other player could sweeten any deal.

Win the CL and they have the cash.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Fair point, but yesterday wasn't a dead rubber.
I love H to bits, but if his heart isn't in it anymore, then let him go.
And that goes for any player, I only want guys who want to fight for us, at this Club.

They will pay more than Utd and to be fair, they are more likely to compete for the top trophies than Utd too. Roman doesn’t give a shit and takes action if they don’t look like winning the league. He’s like the polar opposite of loser Levy/Lewis

And if that happened, my love for him will be killed stone dead!
If he wants to leave, then fine, but he needs to think where he goes to, if he doesn't want to ruin his legacy.

Yep agreed and this is where players can be cute.

If Kane is disappointed and a bit disillusioned then he can join us lesser paid fans in that pit of despair.

For me and of course I am but a mere fan, if he came out with he wants to see what direction the club is travelling in before he says anything he would gain even more respect. That does not excuse lethargic and non-impactful performances but it might explain it.

Contracts are just that and they aren't just for the times when your club is challenging for trophies.

But yes, if the alternative to selling for a huge sun is a non-committed player of Kane's stature then sell but only on our terms.

The fear and it is such a massive fear is that our record in the transfer market would leave us with a number of duds. Then we would be royally fcuked.

Not easy if Kane comes out and says he wants out, but neither is it a foregone conclusion that he is allowed to go. See Messi, who has done infinitely more in every sense that Kane will ever do if we want to talk about players being forced to honour contracts, primarily because choosing to sell would see their fans lunch them.

And here we have some advocating it. Strewth.

If Kane goes to Chelsea, he’s dead to me simple as that and I don’t care what he’s done for us.

I thought he looked fucking exhausted in the last couple of games. Nearly 28 years old and looking like 48.

Unpopular opinion but I think we've had about 7 years of prime Kane. We've not won anything in all that time. Maybe a parting of the ways would be best for everyone?

Kane is going nowhere. I will run him in to the ground and ruin him rather than sell him :levystare:

If he’s leaving to challenge for and win the big trophies of League and European Cup, Citeh and Chavs are the two logical options and probably the only two that Levy could extract close to his market value for in these straitened economic pandemic times. As both of these plastic clubs are essentially just trophy wives for brutal autocratic dictatorships, they are not governed by the normal economic considerations that apply to almost all clubs, including our own.

Haaland I would expect goes to Citeh so Harry to Chavs would make most sense for all concerned.

Kane to Chelsea makes absolutely zero sense for us at all so no.

Would rather we told Kane and Chelsea to get fucked, thanks.

Or...at the very least told chavs it’s £200m for them, and considerably less for foreign teams.

You support Spurs right?

Our options are

1. Play hardball with Kane and hold onto him - he has three years left on his contract. If Levy digs in his heels there, nothing Kane can do, he’s under contract.

2. Sell him if we don’t want an unhappy player at the club who wants away. If we’re selling him, have to attract top dollar or close to it as there’s practically a whole new team to buy such is the level of rubbish we have in the squad. Only Citeh or Chavs will be able to play that kind of money.

Yes, but fuck Chelsea. End of.

Let's be fcuking clear here.

We bemoan not buying the so called best players but some on here think it's okay for Kane to go to City and one even thinks it would be okay if he went to Chelsea.

So we sell one of the best strikers in the PL to teams already ahead of us and in the same breath moan that we don't buy the best players.

To say brain dead is being generous.

What's wrong with you? Kane to Chelsea would be the biggest 'fuck you' to Spurs fans imaginable.

Nothing wrong with me. I’ve been advocating for weeks that Levy plays hardball and tells Kane he’s under contract and is going nowhere.

Plenty of others here advocating that Harry leaves ‘for his own benefit’ and ‘career advancement’.

If he is leaving, we then need to do what’s best for the club and that’s get top dollar for him. Talk this week of Man U lowballing us with a £90 million offer. You’ll only get top dollar at the moment or even close to it from Citeh or Chavs. That’s an unpalatable truth.
