sammyspurs sammyspurs , it’s fine to have these opinions, it’s a forum at the end of the day and you back them up. But let me ask you this;

How would you move forward if we sold Kane for say 150 million? What striker/strikers would you be looking at signing? At the moment I can’t see anyone wanting to join us that would score more than 10 goals a season for us

Kane played the groups, so

We deserved to beat them because we fought tooth and nail for 95 minutes and unlike our fan base the players didn’t give up “because Kane”

Kane also played away at Dortmund, scored in fact

I’m not sure any of us fans ‘gave up’ because Kane wasn’t playing. And I’d be more than happy for us to have a champions league run like that every season, it was amazing. But we absolutely didn’t deserve to get to the final looking back at it all now

It was an amazing assist by Sissoko, but as you said, how can he possibly score with Sissoko behind him

We were extremely lucky vs City. Llorente's handball goal, last minute offside with var, away goals, etc . They had destroyed us that match. And in the semi they destroyed us again until the last few minutes where lucas had the best 30 minutes of his life. Now he is a 10th of the player that he was in those 30 minutes. We were outclassed but ridiculously lucky.
 
Actually I remember in the Carabou final the other week Sissoko disarming De bruyne, breaking away, releasing Kane who had us in a 3 on 2, but he did a little bauble around, turned backwards, turned forwards again, everyone was now offside, the city team were back and he floated a long pass to their keeper.

1 minute late, it was 1-0 City.

You think way to short term as if the whole team, and set up and manager has the be the same just minus Kane.

Imagine a situation where we buy two actual talented full backs who can chip in.
It doesn’t have to be three forwards.

What if Son bags 18, we sign Bale and he gets 15, Moura gets 8 and a new striker gets 15-20, plus 10 from our new FBs combined?

Our fan base still thinks Kane scoring 20 on his own is more
