This is the only positive spin here, I think: this is going to be a very unusual transfer window given the impact of covid on clubs in the league and around Europe. There's apt to be a lot of good deals out there in an extreme buyers market, but the catch will be actually having the funds to be a buyer. Kane is one of the few players whose sale could raise those funds by himself.
Getting a big fee for Kane just means other clubs will try to fleece us like they did to Barca when they sold Neymar. That £150m would disappear very quickly.
