Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Right sammyspurs sammyspurs ...IF we sell Kane this summer, how much do you think we'll get and what players would you bring in to improve the team. Go on sunshine, back yourself with a decent argument. You say we're worse off with Kane in the team, so how do we improve.

Daka, Grealish, the best English U21 we can get with the change.

If he wants to go, we could become a better team overall, no doubt IMO.

The key would be not to look at one player to replace Kane. Improve our attack so we are no longer reliant on Kane playing at an elite level but have a system in which goals come from all over the pitch,

There are plenty of teams out there having success without a Kane level player at 9, why are we any different than those teams?
Because we have an incompetent recruitment strategy, a penny pinching chairman who won't pay wages that top players would get elsewhere and we can't seem to find a manager that wants to join us to implement such a system.

How in the living fuck are we going to accomplish something that requires a huge amount of forethought and planning on the football side of things when our ownership has proven they are utterly clueless in that regard?

If Kane leaves we are fucked for the near future, I am willing to bet hard cold cash on that.

I'd honestly take Danny Ings as a direct replacement for Kane, seeing as he's soon out of contract. He's not at Kane's level obviously (but who is realistically that we could attract?) but at his best he's a very good striker and knows where the goal is. Then use the money from Kane on that bloody midfield and back line. We genuinely needed 5 or 6 first teamers even without taking Kane leaving into account.

Ings has injury problems.

Love Harry Kane and if he goes it’ll be incredibly disappointing he’s done great things for us just don’t go to Chelsea that’s all I ask Harry. As for Sky sports pushing your fucking agenda literally willing to see Kane play for United or city go fuck yourselves and the same applies to all you ex manc pundits who don’t think we’re worthy of having Harry and look down you’re noses at us Your all wankers!! 👆
There's a proper rant bubbling under the surface there!
Give it a few hours/beers more, and I'll be right in there with ya!
Who in world football replaces all of Kane's goals for us? And why would they come and play for us?
Well, pretty much every striker we've been linked with in the last 5-6 years didn't come 'cos they didn't wanna play 2nd fiddle to Kane.... so hopefully a vacancy has opened up there....

Then again, it was a bit like all those years when players cited us NOT being in the CL as an excuse not to come... then when we were... they STILL didn't come!

The timing stinks, tomorrow was supposed to be a welcome home of sorts....
Now the fans won't know what to complain about first!

Love ky stadium, but the club is going to shit!!!

Not convinced about that but I do agree he would slot him in. I think he goes there personally

If they can't figure it out than they are doing something wrong. As much as I hate him Klopp is a smart football mind and Kane is versatile. It isn't like we are talking about Troy Deeney here. Kane is smart enough and athletic enough to press.

I don't think there is a chance he goes there but if he did it would work.

Theres got to be a salary cap in football soon like the states and parity. When was the last time city, psg and chelsea were outbid? Dont think they ever have been. 3 different subscribers now to watch a game of football where these 3 clubs have a bottomless pit. The game is slowly dying. Fans desire to watch their team will end if its monopolised.

City are regularly outbid. They set their limit and will not go higher than that.
Until the summer our record signing was higher than City's.

If we are in it to maximise our income, City will not be his destination.
But we may not get a choice.

He’ll have his eyes on Shearer’s record so you can bet anything he’ll want to stay in the Premier League.

Only 3 teams could afford him here. City, United and the Chavs. Not a chance in hell he’d go to Chelsea so it’s a toss up between United and City.

United aren’t much of an improvement on us. Their PE teacher manager is slightly more experienced than our PE teacher manager and that’s about it.

He’d win everything at City and they’d be totally untouchable for the next 3 years with him in the side and he’d probably score 30 PL goals a season with one eye shut and his cock out.

As for us. It’s expected. Daniel Levy is solely responsible. Lack of on field ambition. His head should roll (figuratively of course).

Ings has injury problems.

Yeah, though he's played more football over the last 2 seasons than I can ever remember. We have to be realistic and accept that without Kane, and possibly Son, we're not going to be that much of an attractive opposition for any top players currently. We'll end up with the Ingsy's and Abraham's of the world.

So now there can be not one supporter of this once great club, that does not want levys head for his pathetic ambition that has imo forced kane to leave....if you do still love the bald parasite ask yourself this question.
It's obvious why nobody wants to leave man city, but why over the years even when not qualifying for the champions league do players not ask to leave chelski, or united or Liverpool?
There is the odd exception like hazard or coutinho but they are very rare, even when we were finishing above these clubs there players made no attempts or hints at leaving..???
I will answer this for you, because the players know that after a bad season the club will attempt to rectify the issues and invest in the team and try to improve.....we don't ever do that, not on levyz watch anyway.
ENIC PARASITES OUT..............

I agree it would work, I just don’t think getting Kane to press is even playing to his strengths, as he offers so much more elsewhere

even his defensive headers from corners are world class now, minor part of his game but players like Shearer and Drogba were also exceptional at this. That’s not withstanding the clever positions he’s been taken up this year

Well the same chairman had the team having success after selling both Bale and Modric. He has us having success before Bale and Modric we here.

We are likely getting a new manager and could potentially get in a new football structure as well so the doom and gloom before we even know who is making the decisions seems a little much.

We have had success before Kane here, it is riduculous to think we can't have it without him. This isn't some sort of lucky run that we jumped up to top 4 after years of being a bottom half club when Kane came here. Yes Levy sucks and yes Hitchens is a moron, but crying that the sky is falling before anything has even happened is pointless.

Same problem in the defence and midfield
Why should a great player join us with no international football?
Also our star player leaves us which makes it for other players not more actractive
