Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

From a personal point of view iI get all the issues around Kane but honestly some of you are being led by others.

2 finals in 3 years. Are we supposed to win both and does Kane bear no responsibility on our failure or is is the failure to win fall to Enic/Levy but getting there fall to good fortune?

Kane is doing what so many players do and that's calling time on his input and saying I want an easy life.

Shame on every single fam who calls themselves a Spurs supporter who agrees with that stance and a big up to any fan who says Levy should tell Kane and his agent to fcuk off.

What? Unbelievable.

In a way you can look at it like a job from a better company than the one you currently work for. Sure, you love the company you work for and you've enjoyed your time with them. But wouldn't you have to be a bit of a bum to not to want to actually better yourself?

While Kane has been at the club he's seen actual great players like Eriksen and Dembele leave and be replaced with absolute dross. We've fallen so much as a club that we have morons here who think Lo Celso and Ndombele are great players. Why should Kane close his eyes and pretend the club is going somewhere when we can all see that we're not?

Are you being paid for being you or is this part of your punishment?

If so my sympathy but this is a tad more complex than you might be able to grapple with so toddle back to the basic stuff before you get swallowed up by the complexity. Not your fault and I will see if I can get you some Ladybird books.

Give yourself a well deserved pat on the back for trying though.
Stop pretending you're a Spurs fan, you pathetic, illiterate, fuckwit cuntophile.

trying to be the arbitrator of who is or isn't a Spurs supporter.

I'm no fan of this kind of thing, and I always try to remind myself that we are all coming from a place of loving this club and caring deeply about it.

That said--I offered a post earlier that said, if Kane goes to another PL team, I hope he ends up horribly disappointed, we win trophies instead, and he regrets his choice. That got a couple of disagrees. What is the disagreement, exactly? If someone would rather Kane win with another club than us win, I can't see why they're on a Spurs site, rather than a Harry Kane site.

I want Spurs to play beautiful winning football. I assume we all want this.

This day has been coming for years, the only surprise is its taken this long. If the board are willing and reinvest properly then it'll soften the blow. The obvious worry is we fritter it like the Bale money. We all know which is more likely.

C'est la vie.

Honestly, I'm feeling very calm about the whole situation.

I'd love nothing more for him to stay and keep banging out goals, and I don't think that we should just throw in the towel so easily. The reality is though that, as a club, we just can't support him in achieving what he could be elsewhere.

If he leaves, I hope we get a shit ton of money and use it to try and overhaul the squad in a long-term, meaningful way. Hopefully it would be to a club outside of the PL obviously. He would get my thanks and support as I don't think that he owes us anything at this point. If anyone of us were in his situation, 99% of us would probably do the same thing. We've been hurt before by players leaving but came back stronger in the end.

If he stays, hopefully we have a new coach that can do something with this squad, and we make a few really good moves that improves us as a team.

My guess is that he's still here next year due to financial reasons, but we'll see.

I think some fans are on Kane's "side" so they want to see him do well as they blame Levy for him wanting to go and it has become very emotional obviously so you will see some harsh reactions today.

I think Sky and virtually all the media are looking for a big transfer story and Kane to leave Spurs for trophies is "logical."
Gold is rarely wrong and I think he's right that Harry is not pushing for a transfer.

They’ve definitely chose a slow news day. No Premier League games, no other sports news really.

Jack Pitt Brooke also saying we are confident of keeping him. The club could be burying their hands in the sand like a lot of us!

Daka, Grealish, the best English U21 we can get with the change.

If he wants to go, we could become a better team overall, no doubt IMO.
If the idiots in charge had £300 million to spend by selling Kane and Son, going by the last 5 years signings we would be facing a relegation battle.
I wouldn't let Levy and co go to the shop to buy a newspaper for me they would even fuck that up.

Unless Levy sells get used to finishing in the bottom half in the coming seasons. I'm not even that bothered as long as we have a long-term plan and start to play football the right away once again. But while Levy remains we'll achieve nothing.
