Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Fair points. Makes for a good news story, Lots of clicks! Like you say. Make a lot of money out of it... plus players have said this type of thing before, then stayed. Also, if it is true, who didn't suspect that this might happen?
All players leave. They either do so when the money is too good to turn down or the club bomb them out, when Kane is 32 and Spurs offer him 12 months, no loyalty will be shown, that’s football. Kane goes when it suits Levy. That’s it. And Levy don’t sell cheap. Kane is not a fool and he knows that.

City will really benefit from signing him.
Benefit from winning what they have already won, that’s quite an uncomfortable truth. City would have FFP issues, they won’t be spending £150m on Kane. Plastic club. Worse than Chelsea and that’s saying something. Maybe Leicester can buy Kane ? They think they are billy big bollocks and no one seems willing to do them for their FFP breaches.

I didn't say it would be a striker though - I just think he'd try to overcompensate and attempt to project 'ambition' but it'd ultimately be a flawed move when what we really need is an excellent scouting team who would have already drawn up a list of £20-40m young players.
If this is true, then I think sonny won't be far behind. So we really do need a good striker

You're absolutely right
He's not a fool but he IS a total c***.

It says he wants his future sorted out before the Euros...
Easy.

Levy: Harry, unless someone bids stupid money you’re not being sold.

:levystare:

Kane: How much is that then?

'It says'... what about - Kane actually said;

“It’s important that all my focus is on the two England games coming up now and the rest of the season with Spurs and then the Euros. To be thinking about speculation or rumours would be damaging in terms of my own performance.

“I always like to be focused on one goal and one job and that’s to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully go on and have a great Euros. Look, I try to stay out of that speculation as much as possible. I’m fully focussed on doing the job on the pitch from now until the end of the summer and then we’ll see where we go from there.”

Enic have won 1 trophy at Spurs in 20 years.
Idiots like you have been told on many occasions that finishing 3rd or 4th is not success.
You are no Spurs fan if you think Enic have been a success at Spurs you deluded prick.

TBF the last 20 years are a bit different to the 20 years preceding that. City and Chelsea have come in and basically had state backing and hoovered up trophies.

Success for Spurs no, but I never thought I'd see us in the CL never mind the final. we've spent money - just very badly. that's what's really cost us.

Well the same chairman had the team having success after selling both Bale and Modric. He has us having success before Bale and Modric we here.

We are likely getting a new manager and could potentially get in a new football structure as well so the doom and gloom before we even know who is making the decisions seems a little much.

We have had success before Kane here, it is riduculous to think we can't have it without him. This isn't some sort of lucky run that we jumped up to top 4 after years of being a bottom half club when Kane came here. Yes Levy sucks and yes Hitchens is a moron, but crying that the sky is falling before anything has even happened is pointless.
We'll see, personally I think that Levy got very lucky with the timing of Kane and that our recruitment back then and when Poch first joined was far more structured.

If we wish for a rebuild that will make us successful we will need to change the entire structure of the way things are currently and I personally think that Levy was very fortunate with the way things happened before and football has changed a LOT since then. I think we have to do things very differently this time in a way that our owners and Levy will not be comfortable with or, imo, successful with.

I am not saying we cannot have success without Kane, I am saying I have no faith whatsoever in our owners to rebuild this club on the pitch and I think that the bottom is going to fall out, I am willing to bet money on it I am that confident.
