Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

As long as it’s not to Chelsea or the scum, and it’s for the right amount - then he’s more than earned it. The players will understand.
The club hasn’t matched his ambition or development. He’s not getting the reward for his endeavour (excluding finance).
This is a difficult time for the club - best player gone and no manager. It reminds me of when gascoigne had said he was leaving, the injury, the desperation about the cup keeping us afloat and maybe he’d stay too, venables moving upstairs.

However long he remains here now, the "One of our own" song is no longer appropriate. I suggest the following alternative:

"He's a great striker,
He's a great striker
Harry Kane,
He's a great striker"

This strikes the right tone I believe, appreciative of him as a player whilst not pretending he has the special connection to the club that we thought he once did.

Why don’t you sing he’s one of own about Harry winks instead if you’re so bothered about appropriate. Let’s all pretend we treat him so well shall we ......

Clubs and fans treat players like pieces of meat. That’s football.

It destroys people.

Kane has got fed up. He’s human. He’s ambitious in a football sense. Probably more so than his chairman. They just have different goals.

End of story.

No issue with him leaving he’s too good of a player to settle for winning nothing. I think it hurts more though because if we sell we are accepting as a club that we will be mediocre for years to come. So much for the world class stadium and training ground taking us to the next level. It’s all bollocks and ENIC / Levy have blood on their hands as far as I’m concerned. Be interested to see the response at the game tomorrow...

One thing is for certain in all this that when Kane goes there will never be a more damning hit against Levy and ENIC's ownership of the club.

Yes they've brought us far but ultimately, despite the awesome stadium, amazing training facilities and high club value, they couldn't keep our ultimate 'one of our own'.

Not sure they can come back from that really.

I've been accused of being a member of Kane's family, so much have I eulogised him or defended him when he's been criticized. I understand him wanting to try something new but he didn't have to get friends to collect his records and then change his number. He's just a player that I used to know now.

Kane has always said if the club matches his ambition then he's happy to stay. Right now there is a massive gap in the ambitions.

If he goes, he goes, players come and go, what worries me more is that our owners will spend the money on four or five players,of which probably only one will be any good. We have been here before with this lot

He's probably been looking at old team mates as well. Walker, Eriksen, Llorente, maybe even Tripps would all have won trophies since they left.

And here I am again also pointing out,

NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY FOR DANIEL LEVY ANYMORE.

This is becoming more and more apparent if you ask me. Even without a gaffer at the helm players shod be jumping at the chance at playing at a club with such a good football infrastructure. Too bad that Levy and Hitchens don't know anything about football.

Just to say I do blame Kane for not having trophies too.
When has he had a big performance in the games we need him most eg. Semi finals or final

Ruled himself fit for the CL final and ghosted. Was awful against City a month ago.

We haven't failed him - He's never showed up when we've had the chance to win stuff.

The only thing that we haven't done is match his ambition in terms of squad quality. Maybe this will be a big wake up call to Levy. idk.

This thread is fucking hilarious.

Some of you lot must be great at coming out of relationships. Fuck me.

We have a manager who is one of own. Young man. Almost died on a football pitch. Loves the club.

And is getting shit from his own fan base. On this site.
Harry Winks. Home grown. Dogs abuse. We should sell him!!

The hypocrisy is brilliant.

These players travel home from every game together seeing the crap that gets thrown at them on social media. They leave. They still talk. They are friends with each other.
They have 1 life 1 career - can change in 1 second. They have personal ambitions.

This is football. There will be the next Harry Kane on his way.

Putting this all on Harry though??? Fucking hell.

Is it possible this is already a done deal?

The Daniel Levy I know could be anywhere from desperate to sell to totally confident and not even considering offers, or anywhere in between, and regardless his answer would be "not for sale at any price"
He’ll bend over for the right price. Just like he’s done a thousand times in the past already. Then blame agents, etc.

Winks is shit and doesn’t belong at this level - deal with it

If he really wants to leave we'd better sell him now for a big fee. We don't want to experience another Ericksen situation. There are some good young strikers out there that could compensate his loss. Kane replacing Aguero at City would make them unbeatable

What a. Stupid way. Of typing.

Citeh or Chavs with their state backed autocrat oil and gas money the only two who’ll be able to come up with the £150 million or so in these Covid times. Both vile organisations, with owners who have no place in the sport.

Players who go there are no better than rugby and cricket players who lined their pockets going on rebel tours to apartheid South Africa in the 1980’s and got lengthy bans for their troubles.

If you were a plumber and another plumber's merchant wanted you to work for them for double your money, would you take them up on their offer?
