Surprised there are no links, he is one player that would genuinely give them ammo to compete with the oil baron clubs of City and Chelsea . Does feel like United have become an Woolwich of Wenger years, happy with top 4, this would show they ain’t going down that path.
The irony of this being that it was United that were low balling us when it came to trying to buy Berbatov, until City got new owners at the last minute and offered the money Levy wanted...and only then did United pay the asking price.

Probably only realistic if they shift Pogba which gives them more funds. They need a CM more than a striker.

A good transfer market and Villa will be in a good place. Buendia and Bailey have great promise and they'll have big money to spend if Grealish departs.
An unknown, but they have the potential to improve, or be much worse, than last season.

I reckon if someone can get VDB back to the way he played at Ajax he could be a fantastic option.
Yeah, the face like a smacked arse that he seemed to be sporting at the end of the season when wearing our shirt got annoying double quick.
Might just be his face tbf and psychologically I was more inclined to be annoyed by it after the interview, but following his current antics it'd be even more grating.
I think I could live with it if he had to stay and kept scoring though, in fact deeper and deeper misery on his face as he netted more and more would probably bring me a sort of sadistic glee...

But ultimately Levy will have a valuation in mind and with the length of contract Kane still has to run, then City need to pay and Kane needs to be a professional.

If he goes to City, imagine how quickly he'll be labelled a flop when he fails to score in the first month yet again. Part of me wants him to go, just to see the reaction. They'll be talk of him doing a Robbie Keane and coming back in January before we know it 
If the offer is £130 mil then take it and move on. Kane doesn't want to be here, doubt many now want him here either. Cut the losses and move on its a big amount why lose it to get less next year and have a problem in the group.
Just half that fee would buy you a quality striker no doubt. Look at United with Cavani, he's past his best but was dominant last season. There is real quality out there up front that would be devastating with Son.

Quite different looking like a great player over in Holland that it is in the Premier League. Not say that VDB isn't a decent player and better than what he's shown at United. But I don't see him as the kind of player that would improve us. You can make an argument for him being better than Winks but it's certainly by no great margin. Not from his Premier League performances anyway.
£130m? Just think...we could buy four Sissoko's with that.

OGS plays him as a deep midfielder, the guy's strength is creating space in and around the edge of the box. At Man Ure he's played out of position so that Pogba and Fernandes can be maximised. He tore Toby and Jan brand new shiny dungholes in the two games we played against Ajax because he was played to his strengths.
