Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I suggested selling Kane and Son and going full bore scorched earth rebuild. So, clearly, my issue isn't selling Kane. Its that you have to get market value, or he should honour his contract.
Love the idea.
Whether the Grealish deal is £75M+£25M add-ons isn't germaine. Its reported as £100M. The offer for Kane was reported as £100M - if it'd been £100m + £30M in add-ons it would have absolutely been reported as £130M as the bigger number always hits the papers.
It seems there is always a discrepancy in the number reported in these big money deals with the seller briefing higher and the buyer briefing lower. City notoriously brief lower evidence by that Portugal leak. They did it with Walker's deal too.

I put the Grealish stuff up as I was taking his contract as 75M and Harry's as 100M.

But accepting your premise then the reported 100M for Harry would have included addons and thus been equal to Grealish. That wouldn't be great but it was for all we know a first bid to test the waters. I mean, it's not Onamah + 3M or anything.

I feel no ill will whatsoever towards Harry though I fully agree that he could and should have handled the situation with greater maturity and respect for the Club and us fans.
None of us know what private conversations or agreements, if any, have been had/made between Levy and Kane. We will probably never know.
I don’t blame Harry for wanting to maximise the final few years of his career-he is a truly elite footballer and deserves to be competing at the very highest level. Had Tottenham matched his ambitions I have no doubt he would have played his entire career at our Club. Sadly a lack of investment and more importantly poor recruitment when we have spent (I am looking at you Steve Hitchens, I can’t believe he is still at the Club) means that we have gone backwards at an alarming rate. The managerial fiasco this summer will also have done little to convince Kane that we are a progressive, ambitious Club.
Probably best for all concerned that Harry now leaves but without a shadow of doubt he is one of the greatest players I have ever seen play in the lily white in my fifty one years supporting the Club.Totally agree the fee needs to be in excess of £130 million.Let’s hope we spend it better than the majority of the Bale money or that on this occasion £100 million buys more than what NDombele and Lo Celso have managed so far .COYS!!!!
