Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't think Levy has communicated how much he would accept for Kane.

Levy (Paratici at least) has "communicated" concisely that he's not for sale......

Does that make him, un-buyable? No; but why would we then contradict that statement by declaring a price-tag?

They suggested 100m (not a bid); we apparently said no.

Apart from the ham-fisted bullshit about Charly's wedding in the showbiz pages of the sun, there's been no noise since.

He says last summer, so I don't think so? Wasn't our serious interest 2-3 years ago when they went down from memory?

But ultimately he drew up & signed a new contract last season with a WRITTEN RELEASE CLAUSE of £100m.

He might sign his name with an X, but he seems to have more going on upstairs than the Kane brothers.

Seemingly he did EXACTLY what Kane should have done last season (or the year before; depending on what rumours you wanna believe)......

.........Woulda probably been able to squeeze another 20-30kpw out of us too into the bargain.

Whatever you do, don’t visit the blue moon forum. A bunch of self entitled Liam Gallagher lookalike Manc cunts congregating together discussing what it will be like with Messi, Kane and Grealish this season. Blue moon plastic cunts
Cesspit. And some Spurs fan set up an account to argue with them about Kane and Levy, he's an embarrassment to us all.

Some dumb goon on TS saying if Grealish is worth 100m then Saka is worth 130-140m...

.....Because Gary.

No public noise but imo talks have been going on in private between the two clubs. Levy doesn't want to sell, but he knows he is going to have to like he did with Berbatov, Modric, Bale and Walker. Once a player desperately wants to go there is only so long you can hold onto him.

No disrespect, but let's skip that part. Much like the post I replied to which said:

"I don't think Levy has communicated how much he would accept for Kane."

....It's all a bit mystic meg.

This may very well be the case; certainly not blind to that possibility.

However, until City make a realistic ballpark bid then why should we show OUR hand?

We're not 'active' sellers in this scenario so why should we act like one?

Was it written? It seems it was a verbally agreed number.

Christian Purslow has just confirmed the Grealish deal. Says that Grealish was assured that if a CL club came in for him and Villa weren't qualified, he would be allowed to leave for £100m.

If it's written in a contract then you don't have to assure anything.
Christian Purslow quote " last summer following interest from a number of clubs we offered Jack a new contract to stay at the club. Which he accepted with one proviso....Jack wanted to be certain if at any point a CL (and AV were not in that comp) club came in for him we would not stand in his way. For that reason we agreed to incorporate a 'so called' release clause into his contract. Our board set this value at £100m..end quote.
