Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We won't be getting any players from the Sheik Mansour Team. Just isn't happening.

Besides, would we really want anyone willing to play for that disgusting mockery of a club?

The sad truth is that the majority of footballers would happily play for them.....

.......If they wanna come and are motivated then I don't it's practical that we think like that.

Stop repeating "these are not the droids we we are looking for" Thats Daniel Levy talking

we are the 10th wealthiest clubs in Europe by all accounts we currently have the best stadium in world soccer and training facilities. We were champions league finalists less than two years ago. We simply underinvested short term and made a duff managerial appointment. We are looking at a stadium that will net us one million pounds a game We have said venue lined up for NFL and Boxing and music concerts. We are based in one of the worlds great capitals. Laporte wants game time. He is an eminently aquirable target if him or Silva are settled in England. Pay the wages players come that's how it works. Dear God Levy has mind whiped the fan base.
I agree pretty strongly with this, but I also know there is a perception problem, and this is one of the ways in which getting closed out of both champions league and europa league and ending up in the farmers conference league really damages us.

That's one of the things that winds me up so much about this site sometimes. People genuinely think top quality players are going to join us, a club in transition that can't offer Champions League football and is in need of a major clearout. It's madness. People have been mentioning Martinez here a lot of late, when realistically, Danny Ings is now our level.
And the stock answer seems to be that money talks

Edited because of unintentional silly remark

No, no he wouldn't. If he leaves City I should imagine better clubs will be in for him, especially from Spain.

If he leaves City it's because he believes he's good enough to be starting there. We're not on that level.

Spain is skint.... Bayern are dead quiet..... France is weak (and skint apart from PSG)..... Italy are struggling.

Not saying it's a given, but options are lean for big money players right now.

Citeh want Kane but wont pay what hes worth. It's up to them to persuade players like laporte and Silva to come here otherwise no deal. That really is the long and the short of it. It's not down to levy or anyone at Tottenham to talk to those arrogant shits first.
Kane will have to knuckle down and accept the situation otherwise hes screwed.
Citeh started this with a concerted tapping up operation before the end of last season effectively costing us decent European competition, which continued whilst Kane was away with England ( using cunts like Walker and stirling) and now getting Kane to strike. So we must make them (& kane) pay and pay big.

Yet you've just hit a lot of pro-Levy bullet points.

I agree with much of your post, but it's the negative nancies that are the ones prone to talking us down.

Forgetting the fact that we are owned by orthodox tight arses

It certainly does to an extent. But lots of clubs have more money than us. Yeah, if Kane leaves we might have a lot of cash to spend suddenly but replacing Kane as adequately as possible will take up a large chunk of what we do get for him in the end, should he leave.

No one got a interview with Southgate yet? Will be interesting to hear what he says.
Would probably make some excuse for him no doubt.

Kane loves Spurs so much that he has gone on strike and will happily let the club go into a game (admittedly a “friendly”) against the arse with all this baggage hanging around and no focal point for the team.

thanks for nothing, egotistical cunt. No respect for the fans at all. I don’t care what his beef is for ENIC or Levy, but behaving like this is completely unacceptable. He’s paid a fortune to be at least professional.

Fine, but in the next breath people shouldn't moan about us not gunning for elite players then.

Last time that happened was Gazza FFS.... And before than Ozzy....... Got little to do with finishing 7th last year.

It goes without saying that the Kane brothers would have been very stupid to place any value on this supposed “gentleman’s agreement”, but descriptions like that have been made about Levy ten million times in the past, I’m confident something along those lines was expressed, and while he surely thought he was being incredibly clever duping those two lads into believing something that wasn’t memorialized in writing, we now see how colossally destructive creating that PERCEPTION was.

There is no substitute for honest and fair dealing, and it is simply not in Levy’s DNA to operate that way.

This shouldn't go overlooked....

Kane half-assing the Villa & Leeds games directly contributed towards us missing out on X million in European revenue..... Win those and it's we're top 4..... Win one and we're at least in the EL.

I think that was what they were after making sure we didnt get champions league and that would then give Kane a further reason to leave.
It's one step below actual match fixing
