It seems to me that Harry statement is a reversal on his way out.

He must have already realized that the club does not sell him or anyone makes a proposal for the value that Tottenham intends.
 
The thing is, if everyone has got the situation misunderstood, surely it would have been in his best interests to come out sooner and say something. He could have saved himself 4 days of getting abuse
