I have said twice I wanted to sell him this summer. Not slating him now the team is disfunctional (not Kane). He is just struggling for form like lots of our squad.

Kane scored about 4 goals against the entire top ten last season, but the deluded thought scoring a shed load against farmers and relegation fodder meant he was world class and priceless.

We're Tottenham. Against the better sides, and there's plenty about much better than us, we're going to have less of the ball, create less chances... Of course his record against those teams isn't going to be as good as it is against the rest. It would be the same for just about any other forward in a Tottenham side. For fucks sake, Lewandowski fills his boots most weekends against sides that are barely Championship quality. Yeah, he also scores in most bigger games, but then Bayern are one of the best teams in the world, and have been for a long time. We aren't and haven't.

He scored plenty of goals last season that weren't put on a plate for him. Put Lewandowski or Haaland in this Spurs side and they'll also have as many games against the better teams where they don't score.
Put Kane in the Man City side and no doubt he'll go right back to looking like an elite player once again.
They should and apparently he is rubbish so we should take whatever we are offered and use that money to buy his replacement.
Man City was a better team than us that year and they were big favorites. In fact they finished ahead of Liverpool in league. But we prevailed in a two game series. I dont know why we have to concede a one game match with Liverpool as a foregone conclusion.
