Tottenham: Two Spurs players test positive for coronavirus following international break
Both men, who trained with the group on Thursday, were shown to have contracted Covid-19 after tests in the last 24 hours; a significant contingent of the clubs playing squad have been away on international duty
There’s the report that two of our players have been hit by it. The rest is speculation but apparently by quite a few relatively reliable people.
We will just have to wait and see.

It’s funny the way some of you think. Why would I be enjoying this?
Remember I’m one of the people who wanted Kane dropped in certain games years ago. I’m in the camp that thinks Kane has become little more than a lumbering bore who can get on the end of things and needs 137 shots to score 23 goals.
I’d prefer to have an entertaining striker here who maybe only scored 15 goals but shot 30 times and passed the rest. You know, for the benefit of the team.
I’m one of those who thinks him starting in the CL Final was a travesty of justice to this club.
So this IS the bright side for you and your ilk.
You enjoy Kane, and get to see him every week (apart from those weeks he’s not available because he’s not turning up for his team as he wants to leave)
For me, it’s a disaster, and one I predicted about 3 years ago. All so avoidable, but the incompetence at the club decided Golden Boots mean more than Spurs itself.

These next few games, Kane is really going to have to show up and prove his doubters (including myself) wrong. I'd really like him to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and win it for us when it looks like we're down and out. Son, Lucas and others have done it time and time again against good opposition. Can Kane do it against a relegation level side?
This is the key here, for me proving himself would be just by doing that regardless of a personal assist or goal.
Be the driving force behind victory, be world class, be a leader.

What he can do is finish top scorer season after season. Often in the Premier League as a whole and not just for us.
Finishing top scorer season after season isn't saying much if he's taking more than 2x the amount of shots as the next player. It's not an efficient way to play football.
Kane took 3.9 shots per game vs Son's 1.8 per game. Yet he only had 2 more open play goals that Son last season.
If he was a player that was able to create for himself, then I'd understand. But a player like Kane that can't create for himself taking 2x the amount of shots is questionable. The only way you get away with it is if a player is scoring at an ridiculous rate like a Lewandowski or prime Messi/Ronaldo.
How about playing like a striker and doing the little unglamorous things like winnings headers, holding the ball up, making unselfish runs, being physical in the box etc.

Who would you expect to score more goals:
Striker A: Takes more than 2x the amount of shots as the next player. Attack is centered around him.
Forward (non striker) A: Takes half the amount of shots as Striker A. At times, deployed as a wingback.
Forward (non striker) B: Takes 1/8 the amount of shots as Striker A. At times, deployed as a wingback.
