I think it’s a conundrum, we have a domestic league and 2 trophies, then what ever level or Europe were in. Again I WANT levy out but as much as I despise him IMO he has done us alright. Would you rather be Leicester, or Blackburn?

It’s a scary situation as we haven’t really been linked with many wide forwards/strikers. There’s Vlahovic and Muani, the latter being able to play out wide and centrally but one has a reported price tag of circa £65m and the other £90m. Both reportedly have several big suitors.
We’ve heard murmurs that we’ll either sign a young upcoming striker or a quality wide forward but again who are these elusive players?
Alarmingly though we’ve also been linked to a few ‘average’ players… Cabral and Beto.
Whether we follow and/or choose to believe ITK info provided across a variety of sites, that too has dried up massively over the last few weeks.
I’m concerned as per the ‘no plan if Conte left’ debacle if we’ve pretty much no plan for ‘life after Kane’ either. A scenario we seem to be seeing with the defence at the mo as well…. ‘player swap deals, contracts torn up, definite upgrades coming in’… 3 weeks till the season starts and we’re technically worse off than last season. The cart horses are still here, no one has come in and the mediocre Lenglet albeit better than Dier, Sanchez and Tanganga has left.
We keep hearing it’s one of Tapsoba or VDV or subject to finances both. This is another scary scenario as well…. one’s an established, experienced CB and the other resembles Yedlin, rapid but very inexperienced and lacks positional awareness and strength. He’s certainly one for the future but to come in as a potential first choice CB, God help us.
Or he sees out the year and gets 50m signing on fee wherever he ends up next season... Fucked

If Kane does rock up at PSG, then they will no longer be pursuing Vlahovic.

Everything about the club, smacks of no plan whether short or long term it's scary.
The club would, be happy for an inexperienced CB, to start the season and hope for the best with coaching etc.
However I don't think, the new manager is going to be impressed, there is only a couple of weeks until the season starting, and already the team isn't prepared enough imo.
Not really. Their fans got to enjoy the biggest miracle in football (a league title!) and got to celebrate an FA cup.
Sure they've gone down, but will come back up. Football is about exciting moments to me, not stability. I'd rather have a league and FA cup in the cabinet than a solid average finishing position and decent bank balance.
Maybe it's me doing it wrong, I dunno. I doubt a single Leicester fan would swap those memories for being us though.

I doubt they'd do it. I certainly wouldn't. I'm not saying that's the 'logical' path by the way - we are the more successfully and sustainably ran football club by every measure. But football is about the highs and their highs have been bigger than ours.
I wouldn't feel too hard done by if I was a Leicester fan. Nothing will ever top that league title win.
