Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

No-one is being happy clappy about it. We're all gutted to see Kane going.

You have just gone way over the top though.

Have you watched any of pre-season or are you still crying about the Newcastle game last season?

We're playing well. We're playing well without Kane too.

It's all gonna be ok. Find where you left your balls and enjoy the season.

Did you watch any pre-season? Because, I seem to remember we played nice enough football but still lost two of the three games. Carry that form into the season and we're... mid table at best.

Get a grip man

There will always be a Spurs

...in the Championship next season.

Problem is timing we decided to sell Kane with the season starting tomorrow night. If we did this weeks ago had a replacement bedded in we would not be so fucked.
Here is my Thinking on it - If We don't make any more signings this window then the Kane deal was agreed weeks ago and this was just pure theatre while we spent the Kane money on signings we should have got regardless - If this happens Levy Deserves a beating
My other thinking is If we now start making some more moves and get Gift Orban for example ( I have never seen him play but heard him mentioned here a few times) and sign another quality defender then Levy has received an offer he deems to good to be true for Harry and has finally accepted it .
Would I have rather kept Kane for the season regardless? Yes- I cant lie the romantic in me would rather see him one more season for us than sell him, however thats not the way to run a football club, I know its late in the window but i'd like to Think we had a plan for each and every scenario regarding Kane and targets lined up to replace him who are actually gettable now and we don't spend the rest of the window fucking about trying to get someone in.

I hate Levy as much as the next person and no one even gets close to Kane as my favorite Spurs player ever.

But unfortunately if you can get 100m for a 30 year old who won’t sign a new contract it would be negligent not to take the money.

Terrible that it has to go down like this, but we’re backed into a corner especially if the money is good. We better spend it well.

We all knew it would happen, Levy is not brave enough to say now and it was far too embarrassing for Bayern not to sign him after making so much noise.

I think it’s a bit of a sad move from Kane’s POV as nobody gives a fuck about the Bundesliga but I suppose he has a realistic chance to win the CL there which might make up for it.

This deal should have been done weeks ago, but Levy has thrown Ange, the fans, the season and even Kane under the bus for the sake of a couple of Million. If anybody had any doubt whatsoever Levy doesn’t care a jot for the fans or the football club. It is all about him Enic and profit

As someone stated earlier "it was bound to happen one day" so with a new manager and a new style of play maybe it's the sensible move.

If Kane has shown absolutely no indication that he'll sign a new contract with us, then sell him off now for let's face it, a shit tonne of money for a 30 year old, with a year left on his current deal. I think we'd all rather he was in Germany rather than playing in the PL for United, Chelsea, City or in fact anyone.

Yes it hurts to know that we'll never see Harry in a Spurs shirt again, but it would hurt a whole lot more seeing him line up against us in this country.

I blame Levy for letting it get to this stage with the decisions he's made since Poch was sacked, but on this transfer, he's damned if you do, and damned if you don't.

If Kane loves the club as much as it's claimed, he'd stay no matter what, so he goes with my blessing with a underlying feeling of fuck you. COYS.

In the end, if it's Kane call to leave then so be it. Turning the move down now would really need to be under the proviso that he was signing a new contract, even if only for two years.

Levy (or whoever) has done well against Bayern here. Dug our heels in and made them sweat to pony up the dosh. Our signings with the Bale money were hit and (mostly) miss but I think we've actually been targeting players in a fairly intelligent fashion this summer and I'd much rather reinvest into an attacking Postecoglou squad than a Conte or Mourinho one (at the start of his squad rebuild, no less, which is about as good timing as we could wish).

Levy may have thick skin, but even he will know the politics of letting Kane go with regards to the fanbase and club as a whole: we'll be bringing in someone expensive/exciting with some of the cash. My bet would be on Eze.

Yeah so you didn't watch then. Just seen the results.

We lost the West Ham game. The first game under Ange. Players still learning. Still building fitness.

We also lost to Barca after being the better team for 75 mins. Our legs then went as Ange didn't wanna sub as he wanted miles in the legs for some players.

We'll lose some games this season but nowhere near enough to get relegated.

You're just a drama queen.

It like Matt1882 using last season's form to show how we're gonna struggle this year. Is just poor quality trolling.

I am upset but rather this than the real opportunity for him going to chelski scum. Especially for fucking free

No player is bigger than the club at the end of the day. It's shit yes but we have to move on and forwards and us the fans need to be united as the media clowns/troll fans are going to try to kick us now as much as ever.
