I don’t really follow Bundesliga, but I’d suspect there’s a Co-relation between the lack of competitiveness in the Bundesliga and their European record.
He has generational talent to me. His record as a 19, 20 year old puts him in special company. Barring injury or some other crazy problem (like Dele), he will be a ballon d’or winner in the future. The guy is amazing.

I’m the same and I don’t care whether he stays or goes. Anytime he’s coming to the end of his contract it’s a big black cloud hanging over the place. We are just entering into a new era just now so we don’t need this shit hanging over everything we do anymore. If he stays it will stay all season. We would be better with him with us but enough is enough now.
