One top player can earn that in one or two years.
Now the Saudis have moved in it's off the scale. Clubs selling for 3-5 billion .
It's insane but it's the footballing reality.
For arguably the world's best striker it's not that much money anymore , one year left or not , 30 years old or not.

I want him to stay more than anything, but Daniel will be itching to cash in IMHO. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I've been bitten too often by €NIC/'The Franchise' 🤮 to be so naive.

If they'd any ambition other than financial, they'd be moving mountains to try and keep him at the club.
 
Overall I’m gutted that it’s come to this but the writing has been on the wall since Mourinho spread his poison throughout the club.

I’m relieved that he’s decided to play abroad, it would have been horrible seeing him play for another premier league team, actively hurting us.

The least worst option.

I don't think we have to go into the season expecting disaster. We might not have Kane anymore but we've signed Maddison and a manager who believes in attacking football. Son and Richarlison will score goals. It'll be a baptism of fire for Vicario and Van der Ven but if they're made of the right stuff it'll toughen them up.

I'm still hoping for a top 6 finish and a domestic cup.

Does anyone else have an irrational hatred towards Bayern Munich? I find myself hoping they somehow go bankrupt or the German Government goes after all the directors or the rest of the German clubs go we just want you to fuck off and kick them out of the League.

To be fair I also have the same hatred to Levy and his cronies on the Spurs Board. I wouldn’t mind seeing Levy being linked to Joe Lewis’s insider trading scandal.

To be fair I am just using this to vent my anger.

I hate our football media who have never have done their jobs properly. Journalists are meant to do more than write about matches and transfers. Like David Walsh they should be investigating and trying to protect the sport we all love/care about.
I hate Bayern Munich for signing Harry.
I hate the disrespect we have had from the Bayern Directors.
I hate the German Sports Media.

Never understood this argument?

He didn't cost anything but he's worth everything to the club - that's the value you need to place on him. You can't be losing a talent like that for free particularly if he ends up at one of our rivals, hell it would have been bad enough turning down this bid from Bayern only to go there in 12 months time for nothing.

You can argue whether the club will or will not spend it correctly or whether the board has ambition or not but losing the guy for free would have been an unmitigated disaster.

For me it wasn’t about the money at all. We’ve denied a prem rival from getting Kane on a free. He had no intention of being part of project Ange.

The Saudis is sustainable because of their money. But no one watches it. Serous players don't go there unless to earn money.

Same as China pre covid.

We may have got 100m sterling in cash for kane at the end of August.

That is what I believe cuntoid was relying on.
