Agreed but the media need to stop hounding him, Frank & any other person old & new conneted to BOTH clubs about it...also stop with the bullshit snide comments - IF Bayern sign a player you don't need to add the WILL HE WONT HE B/S at the end...

Harry will announce what he wants when he wants till then leave the man be & concentrate on his work at Bayern, England - PS I despise the media...

I think he either stays at Bayern until his contract ends and then moves to America to finish his career there, or he signs for Barcelona this summer and spends 2 or 3 years there before going to the US. I don't think you can say no to Barcelona as much as he enjoys Bayern.

I really don't see the massive appeal of beating Shearer's record. If Haaland sees out most of his contract at City he would smash it anyway.

Mate people for him coming back strongest arguments I've heard :-

  • Gareth Bale did it
  • Van Der Vart did it
  • Terry Sherrington did it
  • He 'wants to best the prem record'
  • He's one of our own
Here's the counter or the strongest for him not coming back I've heard :-

  • Gareth bale was 'Washed' when he comes back & Kane was there to see that era
  • Van Der Vart & Sheringham was before our or his time different era
  • How do you know he ACTAULLY wants to best the prem record? has he said anything about it?
  • He is & always will be one of our own that not an actual arguement
  • He could go Barcelona due because the Bayern Striker he replaced was Lewgoalskie
  • He could got the USA due to Sonny, Hugo being at LAFC - (which if he doesn't come back to us or Barca, I much prefer this)
The annoying thing is, I tend to think about about his English more than him coming back to Spurs - I honestly have no fukkin idea what he'll do but I do know this because it is said by himself 'There's is no biggest honour than representing my country' MANY MANY TIMES it's almost his mantra!

Shearer's record is not really a record - Greaves holds the real record - and both of them had more games than Kane did/would get. I certainly don't think Harry should turn down Barcelona for it, though I also don't see him leaving Europe until 36/7 which is 4/5 years away.

Greaves is from a completely different era though that it was almost like a different game.
 
Kane plays in a farmer's league in my opinion, but he is a goalscoring machine.

Nobody but nobody could have foreseen how good he has been. Freakish.

If he had found the capacity to deliver in the very critical games, he would be in that argument, behind R9, who I think most observers are content in saying he is the best striker ever, to date.

Even if he was primarily a forward, Messi was still a far better striker than Ronaldo.

In my opinion Ronaldo isn't even the best striker called Ronaldo.

He is 25 now, 26 next July. At a conservative estimate it would take rest of this season and 6 more to get the 170 he needs. He’s not stopping here till he’s 32. Pep has one more season after this. City will never get back to where they were. It was a one off when they won the treble. Last two seasons has only played 31 in each season. His career has been carefully managed with release clauses at both of his last two clubs. No doubt he has something similar now. It’s not as if City are Real Madrid, is it.
It means a lot to him to be Englands top scorer. He would love to break that premier league record . Don’t see Barca affording him,
The question is…..is he better than what we’ve got. We all know the answer to that.
No way Bayern are winning the champ lge , defence nowhere near good enough. The Bundesliga is just so easy for Kane. Bet he would swap that title for being in our Europa final team.
How much money have we wasted on wasters like Ndombele and Lo Celso. Let’s waste some on some guaranteed goals.

Agree with nearly all of this, especially the Europa league for the Bundesliga, and the ease of goals for Kane in Germany. Still has to get them, but Bayern are so much better than all other Gernan teams.

Were Kane to break Shearer's record, it would be something only Haaland could beat, and like you I don't see how he does it, phenomenal that he is.

How Shearer got so many is still mind-boggling.

I could also see a move to one of the big La Liga clubs appeal to Harry. Barcelona are looking to offload Lewandwoski and I could easily see Kane slotting into that role for them and deliver.

Yep, if Barcelona can afford him, then more likely than a Premier League return.

Pretty much guaranteed Champions League for the rest of his career (although Bayrern offer that), new experience, and a chance to play with a player who is the heir apparent to Messi.

The PL goalscoring record would be magnificent, but so would a record of playing for us, Bayern and Barcelona.
