Was nowhere near being the weak link today, and has been bar far the most progressive passer in midfield over the last run of games. We still need an upgrade but one of the players who has taken a more positive turn since Conte joined.
 
He was not good today, although not nearly as bad as Ndombele or Dele, but that pass for a goal will help to hide that and give his apologists something to try and cling on to so they can continue to overrate him.

Credit for not being shit as that is about the best you can hope for from Wanks.

Of course we're not a top club so he'll be here forever. Everything meant by the word 'Spursy' is summed up in Winks. A fucking shit, coward of a player, hiding away at this club because we allow him to.
 
Nowhere near as poor as a fair few of our players. He needs to go but certainly I'd get rid of both Ndombele and Lo Celso before this guy.

He will get saved because their are others that need to go and where he was born but still not close to good enough.

We likely have to keep him because we supposedly can't sell all the guys that need gone, but we need to be working hard on shipping him out as well.
 
He's not the greatest player to put on our shirt but i'd take him over both of those cunts N'Dombele & Lo Celso all day long. He's spurs through and through and actually cares the other 2 twats are an embarrassment to our club. Fuck the pair of them.

Yeah, he's not good enough. But he gets a lot of shit despite us having other players who are no better ability wise but have a much poorer attitude, and are also on a much bigger wage.

Ideally the only central midfielder we have I'd definitely be looking to keep is Skipp.

Didn't play particularly well, but made a decisive contribution and wasn't as bad as the other 3 senior MFs that played........ But don't let that stop the shoe-ing. :pochunimpressed:

Locelso, dele and ndombele are all the same age as winks though. I wouldnt call them seniors compared to him . In any case,all 4 were shit though, a cross that fluked in doesnt change that. And with Hojberg being terrible as well, we are really struggling in the CM position.
 
Last summer felt he should have been one of the first out the door but he's done alright so far under Conte and is contributing so lets see in the summer. I sort of feel he's a bit like Sanchez, Hojbjerg, Davies in that longterm you want to do much better but we have so many shitters to sell first we need a few for the squad.
