Ex-Spurs Player Harry Winks

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think i lost count how many times he passed the ball to a Wolves player. Absolutely shocking.
I can't recall who but I got told our negativety towards this one home grown hero would stop him telling his son dream about playing for Spurs....🙄 This player is completely out of his depth no matter how much he wants it. Or how much he loves the club. We are stuffed starting games with PEH Winks. We are not getting 4th so let's try White try Paskotski

No point going on about Winks. Pretty sure everyone at the club knows the situation too. He'll be one of the first to get upgraded in the summer.

I don't imagine he'll play much when Skipp is back anyway.

Just grin and bear it for a few more months and he'll finally be gone.

Must just be a coincidence that since he's come in to the side since skipps injury we've gone to absolute shit. We had a solid base with skipp and pierre although lacking a bit creatively there was some drive and desire there. Championship at the very best.

You shouldn't be "shocked" at all.......

Conte saw straight through that pair of dossers.

No Way Wow GIF

What is worrying is if Conte wasn’t being sarcastic or ironic in his post match comments.
He’s supposedly one of the best managers in world football and if he can’t see that we’d be better off with a fucking training cone in the middle of the park then it’s a concern.
I don’t like to bad mouth our players and particularly those with an affinity for the club, but Winks is woefully poor. Skipp can’t get back to fitness quickly enough to shunt this plant pot of a player back to the bench or preferably the reserves if we can’t shift him out of the club.

its a massive concern. the previous managers took too long to see it in the first place imo. by taking too long they allow the vibe to turn bad too. it all went to pot after that west ham game where winks was at fault for the equaliser. the players are not robots, they must be sick of having such an incompetent player in the most important area of the pitch. once the morale dips its a grind to get it back.

imo for a long time winks was the priority to get out the club, i think the damage of having him at the club goes a lot deeper than just having a passenger in midfield in games.

Let's hope Conte is just saying that because he knows Winks confidence is more fragile than a teenage girl. It doesn't really do him any good to criticize Winks because the world knows he's shit, so why bother?

True. It's rare that a manager slags off an individual player. With PEH finally having a rest and Skipp on the way back, we'll very soon find out what he thinks about Winks.

One thing we'll never know which I would like to know is what do the other players think about him. Giving performance appraisals of his mates to the press and playing the way he does which is to mark a player when we have the ball under pressure and point and yell when defending. We've all played with somebody like that.
