I was wondering that last night when we couldn't control the midfield, push Dier forward and go with 3 CMs for a part of the game. Maybe he's too out of practice.

Wow. I've tried sticking up for him, not as a player but more in general in regards to the hatred, but bloody hell enoughs enough. He really shouldnt be playing for us again even if it means Dier as defensive midfielder or playing Devine.
Hopefully fans can start to see the same thing now and there's less arguing.
The guy is a total hindrance to the team. He has been for a very, very long time but it's taken a lot of people a long time to see it.
I'm really not one to go in on players but Winks's performance last night was unacceptable. He lost the ball in dangerous positions, he was slow and ponderous with the ball, he's small and meek and incapable of winning the ball either in the air or on the ground.
He was unadventurous, always looking for the safe simple pass backwards and in doing so gave a very organised Boro time to get back in their shape.
No one was particularly good last night, but Winks's display was one of the worst I've even seen in a Spurs shirt.
For his sake as much as ours, he can't be with us next season. Lord knows who'd take him, but he has to go.

Winks and Hojbjerg made Jonny Fucking Housen look like Steven Gerrard let that sink in.

Yep. Again my defence was more against the vitriol than any attributes as a player. I said at the start of the last summer window that it would be a failure if Winks was still here at the end of it (and Sanchez and Doc) and yet here we are. It cant happen again.
He’s also playing really well at centre back and Sanchez is an erratic simpleton

The Jonny Housen stuff was illustrative the blokes touch dynamism and forward running and passing made him look elite and Hojbjerg Winks look the championship players. It was damming are they not utterly humiliated? Peak Modic or Dembele would have swaggered all over Borough last night.
But you’ll still get the odd few on here defending him and slagging off the vast majority criticising the little rat
He won’t leave the club though
