I think know what you mean but, for the sake of clarity, our away support is quite the opposite of 'corporatised'. They're amazing people - laudable individuals.Away support is indeed normally pretty good. I wonder if it has simply been corporate-ised. Like ours a bit to be frank. In terms of the general stature of the club, it’s still there. They’re still a big draw for players and their fan base is still huge. But the aura went some time ago. Must be pretty depressing seeing City become an even better version of what they used to be - untouchable financially and on the pitch.
