Player Heung-Min Son (손흥민)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Fingers crossed he ain't injured. On fire at the moment.

My bro shared a house at uni with a German geezer. Said he was great. Had my reservations, but you can't deny the way he has exploded this season! COYS

Injury not serious but would like to see Son sit this one out as even Germany or Spain would have a tough time in Iran. Bit like Russia in the winter. Not a place to be of you want to pick roses...

Can we please have a Son dab emoji?

"It's nice, but I prefer collecting points to personal prizes... But actually, I don't need personal prizes. said Klopp.
"This is my dream, to get the award," said Son. "I want to get it a second time, a third time."
He added: "When I take the award home, my family will be crazy like you can't believe - they will be really happy.
"

Slightly differing sentiments to receiving a personal award...
Is Klopp just 'saying' these things, y'know, to instill the 'team ethic'?

Or is Son just speaking from the heart, and being honest?
His 'penalty spat' with Lamela against City would suggest one of them is happy to get the personal glory!!
...just not sure which of them it is!

Good for him, why shouldn't he have desire to win something? No different to the golden boot... Think a manager will always try and lead with the team angle. Don't have a problem with Sonny as long as he respects he team-mates. Lets hope he doesn't implode tomorrow :dierno:

Let's hope he's fit enough to play first!

I agree... a Team manager has to exude the 'group is first' ethic (same as Poch always does, to be fair)
But we all know players are ultimately in it for themselves... mind you, plenty of them can show team spirit... even if they don't always mean it!

When he calms down a bit and learns to pick a pass in stead of always shooting, he'll be an absolute boss player. He's very good, is two footed (something i always admire and envy), can shoot with incredible power from almost every angle and has the trickery needed for wide players. Never understood the hate, we are such an impatient and fickle fanbase. But we expect loyalty from the players themselves, that contradiction has always baffled me.
