Just don’t see it with him. I don’t think he’s interested in the lifestyle there. Think he’ll want a year or two in a less intense European league and then a couple of years in the K-League.
In many ways this summer could be the perfect moment for both parties to separate ways. Especially after what happened in Bilbao and Sonny lifting a major trophy, feels like the perfect end for a player who clearly has been over the hill for some time now.

He had a poor season but he still had the most goal contributions in our squad this season. To let him go we’d have to replace him with a top class player, even a shit season by his standards is better than most PL wingers.

He goes back now.. he'll be an absolute god in Korea ....a couple of years in a not so glamorous league and his standing will be somewhat diminished. They'll still love him but it won't quite be the same vibe or financially. Saying that i'de still have him at spurs for another season
